The only clever translation I've seen was back in the battle for Meridell, when they were actually putting effort into getting the site translated to french.
The bat thing was called Chose-Souris instead of Chauve-Souris, so it was all clever... and stuff...

I translated tried to translate Traditional Chinese news about war and this is what it did: (The moment you have all been waiting for is here...
