... and he loses 2 movement points!!!!

Arrowned

You're buying two black frost cannons, and four shaken-up cans of neocola? Why don't you just unequip them when you want a different pet to use them? You will never be able to fight a battle with both of them at the same time, unless they are both in different acounts... So I think you should save yourself some neopoints and just unequip when you want a different pet to use the weapons.

I as thinking, since I don't have a good primary weapon, It would be cheaper and better to get 2xRamtors Spellbook for 2.4mil instead of a wand of reality for 4.5mil. 2.4 mil for 20 icons or 4.5mil for 13 icons. I knwo one is with one weapon and the other is with two but I am curious about your opinions.

I enjoy 1 player battledome battles. I never do 2 player battles.

I was a little frustrated after the last war ... but I've been working on the defenders of neopia ... so 1 player still has some enjoyment.

Here are my stats.

Level : 166
Health : 324 / 324
Strength : ULTIMATE (234)
Defence : AWESOME (74)
Move : LEGENDARY (113)
Intelligence : ULTIMATE GENIUS (368)

I have all of the main abilities.

Right now, I am using the following items.

Weapons:
Scuzzys Comb
Scuzzys Comb

Shield(s):
Leaf Shield
Downsize!

Bomb:
Honey Potion
(I used to use a snowball here ... but now it is blank)

Healing:
Velms Healing Potion

Freezing:
Snowglobe Staff.

I absolultely hate items that are "one use" or "Break permanently" That's why I don't use things like a "scroll of freezing" ... or why I usually forget to equip a good snowball. :)

I've been making quite a bit of neopoints lately, so I might be interested in investing in something. Nothing too expensive ... but I could spend 3 million or so (+ trade value).

Guaranteed freezing is a real minus for me. Proper healing is also a minus (although velms actually does more than 30). I never really effectively try using my blocking stuff (as my defence is poor, anyway).

I guess I'm looking for either a decent 2nd bomb ... or a cool weapon upgrade. I think an H4000 helmet is a bit out of my price range ... so is a paper healing item, I'd guess.

Any thoughts? You can probably tell ... I've frequented the lab ray quite a bit ... I was training my strength up over the 200 mark at the training school ... but then the lab ray finally put me over 300 hit points .... so I had to start increase my level.

Since then, I've been only training level for the time being, in hopes of someday getting to the cool ninja training center. Of course, by the time I am able to make it there ... the prices will have gone up ... and the time to train will have gone up ... and the price of red codestones will have gotten 10x more expensive. :)

Is that rainbow clockwork grundo a decent thing for a 2nd bomb? Worth the price tag? Should I hold on and wait until I am willing to spend the 4M+ for an H4000 helmet?

Sorry this was so long. :)

Could someone loan me a weapon much more powerful than Rubber Axe and Snowball Slingshot, as I only have about 50k. I'd give it back as soon as I beat them.

Sun Apr 17, 2005 12:05 am

I'd like some weapons advice...I'm terrible at that stuff.

My pet is an Ixi, so no good species weapons.

Stats:
Level : 51
Hit Points : 77 / 77
Strength : AMAZING (85)
Defence : EXCELLENT (49)
Movement : GREAT (31)

Weapons:
Downsize!
Honey Potion
Blue Scorchstone
Scarab Stone Slingshot
Leaf Shield
Illusions Earth Potion
Snowball Slingshot

Abilities(highest ability listed out of that category):
Fire: MAX(Meteor Shower)
Water: Water of life
Earth: Regeneration
Air: Diamond Dust
Dark: MAX(sink)
Light: Sun Ray

I don't have loads of NP, but I could spend 100-200K.

Sun Apr 17, 2005 11:29 am

Level : 15
Shoyru
Health : 30 / 30
Strength : GREAT (30) (Swashbuckling academy will rasie it by 1 soon)

Mud Mixture
Mud Mixture
Mud Mixture
Snowglobe Staff
Scarab Ring
Illusens Earth Potion

I have around 550k in my bank and 75k of worth in Stockmarket.

The only ability I have now is Heal. =/

I see these threads don't get answered too often. :) I'll continue just seeing what people offer me for weapons, and look them up on the IDB to see if they are cool or not. :)

Fri Apr 22, 2005 3:02 am

Weapons:
Scuzzys Comb- I like the icon combination, and its cheap and effective.
Portable Kiln- Currently goes for around 2.75 mill, it's an excellent attacker.

Shield(s):
Leaf Shield
Downsize! - Keep this unless you get a TT.

Bomb:
Honey Potion - Keep. Nuff' said.

Healing:
Velms Healing Potion - In all truth, this is a terrible healer. I'd recommend you get something better as soon as possible. Possibly a species healer.

Freezing:
Black Frost Cannon- Will deflate after the war, possibly lower than 200k.
I like it.

-----------

That's how I think i'll give advice from now on.
If you have questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks for the black frost cannon suggestion. They do seem OK.

Yeah, my healer does suck ... but those real healers are just so awful expensive. I use "restore" to gain back HPs during battles, usually. (Which means I don't use sink/burrow much.)

I want to be able to actually get somewhere in the war, so my budget is 400k or so, not including any training i can get in (it'll be dubloons though, I'm not loaded :P). Any help would be much appreciated. :)

Phlame, the only thing I can recommend you do at this point is put in some training time. Stats are more important than weapons. ;)

Ok, I'm in the 20s for level now, should i use codestones or dubloons? I'm not on long enough to do more than one coures per day, so time does matter, its price that worries me, as I don't really have a great source of income. Also, what should I train to, and what weapons should I get at that point? Thanks again :)

I think the black frost cannon is a good idea, the rainbow clockwork grundo is allright, but its not what your set currently needs. I think you should lay off the labbing for now. Morph into a kacheek/elephante/gelert and use one of their healing items. Then use the np that you were going to use for a weapon on training your attack strength.

Phlameseeker
Dubloons are cheaper than codestones. Make sure that you go to coltzans shrine everyday, he always gives away free stats to lower leveled pets. With 400k it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a Halo of devilpuss to replace the fire snow... but I think the best choice is to use majority of that money for training. You need to raise your strength boost to match ur hp.

Insignificant
That green schorch is kinda oldschool, now every1 has greater healing scroll. The scroll heals 50hp, but you have to lose 50 hp in order for it to heal 50. If you have 20/50 it will only heal 30. Green sticky hand has also seen better days, you should replace it with a purple one, which is equal in efficiency, but less than half of the price. The black frost cannon, leaf shield, duck, sword, and honey potion can all still be pretty usefull. You only listed 7 weapons you might want to include downsize! as your eight choice. Later on save up and get a rampters spellbook to replace the dark battle duck, and maybe scuzzys comb instead of sinsis sword.

AngelikDragon
Replace one of those mud mixtures with something that heals more, greater healing scroll works, so does lesser healing scroll and blue scorchstone. Replace snowglobe staff with black/rainbow frost cannon. If you're given ramters spellbook, i guess put it in place of another mud mixture, and you could also get a halo of devilpuss or melting mirror or wand of the moon to replace one of your two scarab rings.

tigerlily
with 100-200k i think the best thing to do is replace the scarab stone slingshot with brain tree mace. Also add snowglobe staff to the set, or if you can afford it, black frost cannon.

arogance1
If you want to beat the henchmen but you do not have enough cash for weapons just buy a scroll of freezing and a few fire/stone muffins.

hellyer
In your position I would get ramters+scuzzys
