Then do to the desert (north of the valley of the kings so around the mountains and then west and you will see the hermit in the desert. Stand next to the hermit facing north. Talk to him. Walk as far north as you can then as far east as you can and you will see a notation to dig. Dig and you will have the send medalion piece.

Re: Hunting - I have certain levels I want to be when I end each chapter. I hunt as necessary to reach those levels. I typically hunt most of the first 3 chapters, about half of the 4th and none of the 5th. My rule of thumb on Evil is to be at level 19 at end of Chapter 1, level 29 at Chapter 2 end, level 40 at end of Chapter 3, level 50 at end of Chapter 4 and level 58 to face Terask II.

boatingbabe2001 -- don't delete the game. Having 11 on damage shields is good although usually I don't get there until toward the end of Chapter 2. Just use the shield and use damage potions until you can get a few direct damage points built up.

On Uthyni, you need to talk (not trade) with Uthare first and then go see Uthyni and get your discount and go back and trade with Uthare.

i did that but perhaps i wasn't in the right spot to dig i guess

Go walk back to the hermit and make sure you follow instructions exactly. (You did talk to lafira in the tent first?). If you are off by even one space you won't get to the right place.

Yes, keep going right (to the east) until you can go any farther. Then go south (past Bledynn -- -- talk to him he is funny) get into the Akhten-Ka palace and go fight the ghost of King Coltzan. Get whatever it is you need from the barrel behind him. Then go back out. Once you get back to the main part there are some mountains shaped like a smiley. The last piece is between them. Go to this map to see:

*EDIT*

hmmm

Velm threw a Scorch Potion at Coltzan's Ghost!
The Scorch Potion did 115 damage to Coltzan's Ghost!
Coltzan's Ghost was defeated!

yet the potion is suppose to do 95.... how odd

Those potions do varying damage. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I think the numbers assigned to them are mosty to quantify a general range.

Actually sometimes you can walk over chairs and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you can walk through trees and others, not. Basically you should always try.

I'd assume normal, since she didn't know how to get past the chairs.

You can usually walk through trees (unless they're in towns or the Haunted Woods), chairs, and puddles.

Ok, I could use some help on Insane Mode.
I'm at level three and have yet to distribute my skill points.
What should I put them on?

hmm maybe critical hits? he kinda sucks in the begining but he becomes a force later on with his stun and CH

Damage Increase should probably be upped before Critical Attacks...

You should put at least one of them on increased speed. It's very useful at the beginning, because sometimes you can hit twice.
