I have no problems with it in and of itself since it's so pointless, but I'd hardly call it a great move. Donna promised to do something about paint brush inflation in another Editorial and not too long after released an avatar that caused the further inflation of the pink paint brush and then another requiring a krawk. Their good ideas come in fits and starts, which are too often and unfortunately overidden by their bad ones.

At least they've added in "exotic" colors into the referral prize list. Yes, it's difficult to achieve, but some people will, therefore having a small source of PBs.

And who knows? Perhaps they've increased the likelihood of paint brush random events or other subtle things like that. We all know that they don't really announce everything.

I like the newbie brushes. Who said they had to use them right away, anyways? What if you bought a transmorph. potion for a rare pet and didn't feel like shelling out the extra cash for a paintbrush so it'll look good? Newbie brush. XD Good for those sticky situations, like the blue event.

Like that makes a difference. O.o most newbies have blue pets. XD *runs before she's attacked*

I think they did it so that if a newbie adopted a pet they could hange the color :33

Not really. I mean I refreshed my inventory and got the "Something has happened" business and yet I've been on Neopets for over 3 years now.

I also agree with whoever wrote that the paintbrushes were used to change the colour and if you didn't like it, an original paintbrush.

I mean my pet is Red, and in the pack I got a Red and a Green paintbrush. If I didn't like the Green I'd revert back to red etc.

Starter Red Paint Brush (No Trade) (RARITY 150)... Darn no trade :P

Neopets does a lot of things that make me shake my head in disapprovel and sigh in disgust. But those paint brushes were a big head-shake and giant groan. They're giving basic colored paint brushes to people who probably don't want to paint their newly created pet anyway. Then they turn around and make the more desirable paint brushes impossible to get by making them an avatar item.

NPT, do you even play your own game? Do you have any idea what's going on?

NPT: "a duhhhhh" *slobber*
me: "ugh" *rolls eyes*

That last comment was uncalled for. It's not hurting us and it's helping the newbies. If I were new, I'd be delighted at the prospect of any paint brush. And it's not very kind of you to call TNT stupid when you spend time on a site created with their ability and intelect :battar:
