Has anyone else noticed this? The image of the shop wiz has changed into some red bird which is stretched a bit too far... It still has the "shopwizard.gif" name though, so they've clearly replaced it on purpose... anyone has any ideas what this might mean??

No change for me. It's probably.. *coughzer0cough* ..all of the recent glitches are his fault. (Correct me if the name is wrong, but that is what I remember it as )

You should try refreshing your page, or look up the source of the image... on my page it says "http://images.neopets.com/shopkeepers/shopwizard.gif"

Okay, I just did a "discovery" when loging on to MSN... On the left side where there's some commercial tabs, one has the same bird on it, it's about a thing called "De grootste Belg" or "The greatest Belgian", a thing that's going on cause Belgium is celebrating it's 175th birthday...

So I guess it's just another way of doing advertisements: replacing the shop wiz in different countries with different sponsored logo's...

Yep, I have... But as I said, it's a logo from this election-thing, so it's probably some sort of advertising that can only be seen by Belgian people...

I've changed my country to Belgium, and I'm still seeing the plain old Shop wiz.

I've emptied my cash agan and guess what... the shop wiz is back! So I guess it's either a weird bug where another temporary image got put at the place of the shop wiz one, or there's some malware on my computer, cause my sis has done something wrong a couple of days ago and I'm still trying to get rid of the last few things...

I think it is malware. I just changed my country to Belgium, also, to see if I would get that little red bird. But, no bird. Still that same little cute jubjub in a wizard's hat.

Either that or it is an aftershock from the glitches we had a few days back.

This has happened to me before.

A random image on the BBC News website got replaced with another temporary internet file image, which confused me muchly. It would appear that windows sometimes messes up and switches the two.. who knows why, but it happened to me too

You've probably got some spyware on your computer. It can change links, pictures, etc. to something else of the spyware's liking and not change the URL or anything.
