If oyu've got Lost Horizons or Lemonjelly.ky you'll recognise the style, but it's quite different. I'd say it's a bit more radio/club-friendly (e.g. '75 aka Stay With You). Stand out track for me is '88 aka Come Down On Me which so totally rocks! The packaging is, as usual, excellent

I recommend it!
Oh yes, finally there's a track with William Shatner on it.

Today's car boot sale purchases: (I'm such a cheapskate)
The Very Best Of Level 42
'Love Over Gold' by Dire Straits
'Boss Drum' by The Shamen
Tears For Fears' Greatest Hits.

Ah okay. I think they played some tracks off that album when I went to see them, and they sounded cool, so I must get that album. ^_^

I've never got to see them but I've heard their gigs are pretty random! Do we have a 'jealous' smiley

? I expect they would've played a few from the new album, a lot of it's pretty melodic chilled-out stuff.

Just got a new CD. Well, it was used, but it's new to me. So, umm...yeah.

The last one I bought was The Beekeeper by Tori Amos. It's quite a good album, actually. I didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me a lot.

I hadn't purchased a cd since Christmas until today when I picked up .hack//SIGN Original Soundtrack 1. My husband and I both adore it. Now I'll have something to listen to at work besides Launchcast, which is beginning to annoy me.

There's a very cool garage rock scene going on is Sweden right now with bands like the Hives, S.T.O.O.L., Hawaii Mud Bombers and many other rocking artists.
If you want to hear more from them or any other PHENOMENAL grounp I suggest you listen to an archived show of Little Steven's Underground Garage
