I just got the old swamp ghoul random event today that jotled old memoeries about neo, I just made this topic for nastalgia sake, what do you miss about pass neopet years gone by?

For me the most annoying change is cost, things cost so much now, I remember when I first got on you could get a whole lab map for about 10k or something like that, and battledome rules were much more forgiving.

Well, I remember I was searching fora Krawk Morphing Potion, and whatya know? Some for 97k, I have 160k, I WAS AN IDIOT!! I SHOULD OF GOT IT!

I miss... the old lupe and kougra. Alright, those are kind of recent. I also miss themeparks. Something I don't miss: the general chat!

I miss the really cheap shop upgrades. And I also miss the long rses without any codes.

I miss the cheap prices

Me too, everything now is so inflated such as paint brushes. I remember when only fire, desert, and faerie were over 100k. Now most non-solid paint brushes are 200k and above, many even over a million nps.

I miss the cheap prices too. Back when most paint brushes were buyable and a whole lab map didn't cost 450k and morphing potions were all buyable... those were the days.

I actually do miss the GC, because that was the board where most of the spam went. Now its all spread out.

I also miss the cheap prices, the old lupe and wocky, when you could transfer a pet and its lookup wasn't cleared, when people weren't so mean, and the old uber faeries.

I remember that too, the faerie pb was also about 60k also and most others were only about 30 to 50k...ah those were the days wern't they.

I remember when people weren't 'report-happy.' You weren't so limited in what you could say on the message boards, and people didn't report you for saying damn.

What I miss about old time neopets, items were so cheap

I do miss the General Chat! I had a lot of fun there bashing Hellary Fluff(Hilary Duff), and sometimes having discussions on Harry Potter that would last from 11 pm to 5 am. I made tons of friends there, and we used to gang up against the newbies who actually believed they were in guilds owned by Hilary Duff/Olsen Twins/Britney Spears, etc . I once went up against one HD fan who actually sounded intelligent, except she truly believed she was in a guild with Duff. She kept saying stuff like 'Oh, Hilary's going to be really interested that you're saying this stuff' and 'you know, she can pay neopets to get your account deleted'.

I also miss the days when the baby paintbrushes were 200k, though that wasn't too long ago. I miss the Transmogrification Potions that used to be 500np (can't remember what species). And when Meerca chase still gave out magical meerca plushies, so you could find them on the shop wiz for 100np. Do those even exist anymore?

Oh, and when Nerkmids were like 15k, and the really rare ones were only like 50k. And I remember the tombola coins, too. I had one when they were worth like 8k, and I swear it was in my SDB, butt I don't know what happened to it.
