Neohate (people who hate neopets)

Basically most of their complaints are about the neoboards. If the neoboards are so terrible, why go there in the first place? Neopets is not totally about the boards, in fact I played it for one year without posting on the boards once.

If you need interaction, there are many other Neopets forums out there. Don't diss Neopets just because of of one or two aspects of it.

Eheh, and I thought I had too much time on my hands as I play neo so much. At least I don't spend my time being so angry and bitter about a *game* that I can *choose* to play or not.

well anybody who spends all day on the boards is going to find themselves completely exasperated. You'd think they'd learn to steer clear of them, I guess they're just stupid or stubborn. You just end up with a frozen account, sooner or later, anyway. The boards are for idiots.

I have to admit, I get somewhat tired of people constantly complaining about the Neoboards. Yes, in general most (not all) of the people posting there are extremely frustrating. I no longer visit them for that reason. If you try to go there and find that they are full of chatspeak and other frustrating things, just don't visit them anymore! I've heard too many stories of people being unfairly frozen to want to post there at all. If you want intelligent conversation about Neopets, just come here... or find another message board that has intelligent people.

I don't understand why people would want to devote that much energy towards hating an online pet site. If I got unfairly frozen, I would indeed be angry, and rant... but I'd give it up. I certainly wouldn't make a webpage devoted to ranting; it's not going to get you anywhere.

Well I think we can all agree that the majoraity of people who hate Neopets are the ones who have had accounts frozen. I'll also give Neopets the benefit of the doubt on this one and say that those who were frozen were frozen with good reason. (Because they don't seem like the kind to try to get their accounts back, meaning they knew they did something wrong)

Just checked out their official forums (http://www.antineopian.com/ for those who don't know ), and I gotta say, some of that stuff there is bloody hilarious. Worth checking out is their Pro-Neopets section. I posted there, and it's amazing how they don't even read your post and think about what you wrote. Some joined here just because TNT doesn't let them swear on the boards.

BTW, I ask you to join the pro-neopets side if youhave a minute or two.

I looked at those forums for a minute, and all I will say is this: those are the biggest hypocrites I have ever seen.

Someone was complaining about how a girl on the Neoboards said her mom was a theif and stole her account or something (probably joking or stupid.

) and everyone posted back saying "That proves Neopets is not kid friendly!". Yet, they also say that Neo is too kiddy.

I went to antineopian out of interest - and i'm very, very scared. It seems that this is where all the complete nutters of the world hang out.

Someone was complaining that they'd seen rude words on the trading post, and cited amongst their examples: "junk will rot" and "no rubbish"!!

Shocking!

I actually can't see any offence in those two phrases at all.. anyone care to enlighten me? o_O

Actually, on second thought, don't post your usersnames here if you do join anti-neo. Whilst some of the people there are intelligent and have good points, a fair few of them seem like nothing more than angry... somethings.

I wouldn't put it past a few of them (not all of them, a few of them) to try and mass report someone.
