Weird neomails o.0

I rarely get weird Neomails, which is kinda too bad because I find them entertaining. I remember that once I did a comic for the Neopian Times, though, and got a bunch of mail out of that. I used an old joke that lots of people know ("What's brown and sticky? ...A stick!") and a bunch of people Neomailed to tell me I didn't make up that joke and I shouldn't be acting like I did. I just wrote back and told them I never claimed to have made it up (one of my pets was just gleefully telling the joke to another), and I had never seen it used in a comic before, so it wasn't like I was plagiarizing. No one wrote back.

I also got a bunch of mail when I was #1 on the Volcano Run high score list, but no one asked me to play on their account or anything. They just wanted tips, which I gave.

Wow, the fact that you don't have a Krawk is probably the best part. They probably think all those underscore's are threatening and you buy them a Faerie Krawk so you won't be stabbed by flying fill-in-the black spaces.

You know, sometimes I find it really hard to be polite to people:

I have an Usulbat Plushie that you don't have and I want to give it to you. Could I Borrow a Paint Brush? I PROMISE I'll give it back

I have a plushie gallery of over 700 plushies. Wow, did I really just happen to miss the usulbat plushie that cost 10 nps on the shop wiz? Or did this person not check beyond page 1 of my shop. I won't even comment on the "borrowing" of the paint brush.

Oh, well, could be worse. Just the other day, I got someone telling me that I had to sell my purple negg to them for 4500 nps (1200 less than the market rate). And,she went on to say that, after all, I was making nps anyway. When I politely told her no and explained that I had happened more than that, I got a "Fine. I am reporting U." Go ahead, punk, make my day.

I've gotten a couple of odd ones mostly a while back though.

One person promptly neomailed me (back when I drew a couple of NT comics for fun) that I will never has as many trophies as Stoneman and that NO ONE EVAR WILLL!111one!!1

Another one told me that they would gladly donate the two blue ixi plushies to my ixi gallery if I bid 100K for them in their trades. :D

XD; Yeah and in my shop it clearly says ITEMS priced at 100K are NOT FOR SALE. I have come to a theory that a certain popluation of neopets players can type but not read. They make up for their lack of reading skills by randomly typing to people to make themselves feel smart *snirk*

Well, when I first started, I didn't realize what kind of a "money pit" I was getting myself into. But, I adore plushies and they are probably the only reason that I continue to play Neopets. And, actually, I have a lot of fun looking for plushies. I never, ever buy anything unless it is a bargain. So, I love it when I find a good bargain!

If you check out my plushie gallery, you will see a statement in big, bold letters that nothing is for sale in the shop. So, even if a new person comes to the shop in an attempt to buy something, their eye would immediately go to that sentence and realize that nothing is for sale. And, if they didn't know what I meant by that, they could always write me and ask why nothing is for sale. Instead of being snippy and telling me to lower my price.

My wife has a gallery, but its nowhere near as impressive, she only has 370 plushies, but isn't bothering with broken, ripeed or none plushies like cat nip.

Can you believe I still need over 120? So, I gave up trying to complete the gallery a long time ago.

And, 370 is quite impressive for a person who started a gallery in December, 2004! So, your wife's gallery is nothing to sneeze at. If she ever wants to commiserate with a fellow plushie lover, tell her to drop me a line.
