Actually no one in the guild had to report. The monitors DO look at guild messages, and there may just be some new bot filter that catches certain phrases and either automatically does the suspension or sends the information to a monitor to look into.

NA, you got warned? Yikes! Sorry to hear that :(

I'm guessing that this is happening because people were being scammed by others asking for "donations" or "tips" for lending pets/petpets or the person who borrows decides not to return the pet and either keeps or sells the petpet (if it's a petpet avi).

Three of my friends were frozen yesterday after 1 of them lent the others' a Pink pet for the avatar. There was no exchange of neopoints or items involved, i.e., no tips whatsoever. They weren't just suspended either -- they were tossed into the deep freeze. Seems totally unfair to me. I know the rule is you can't charge anything in adoptions, and I agree with that policy. But in this case, there was NO exchange of anything other than the Pink pet. :x

Sierra, they were all frozen? That's harsh. OK, so warn them, post something in the News or on the front of the boards page saying lending of pets/aged petpets is not allowed (like they have the item pool thing), even suspend them if they think that's warranted. But freezing? What was the reason? I hope it wasn't either of the all-encompassing "attempting to sell or trade ... " or the "attempting to scam ... ". The poor people will never get their accounts back if either of those were the reasons.

Once again, because a few bad eggs do try to scam people or try to collect "donations" or "tips" for stuff like this, everyone else has to suffer.

e.e They should just face up to the facts and create a pet trading post or something. They may think it's inhumane or something, but they can always make the amount of NP able to be transferred limited like the TP is 800k. It'd do wonders for PB inflation, and people could safely transfer pets.

Everconfused, yep, all 3 of them were frozen. The reason given on their login pages was "they had multiple accounts in order to earn NPs", but when one of them contacted TNT (she has Premium), she was told it was because she had transferred her pink pet to the other 2 players. There was no collateral or tipping involved in any way. Hopefully they'll get this straightened out.

I hate it when TNT freezes players for unwritten rule violations. Their policy clearly states that it is illegal to sell you pets for neopoints or items, but it says absolutely nothing about doing it for free. It's such a shame, too. All 3 ladies are middle-aged professionals (one is a Neuroscience professor at a medical school) who are the most above-board players I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. :(

Did the ladies log onto each other's accounts? Could be why TNT is saying they're all one player.

No, they didn't log into any account other than their own primary accounts. Often, the reason given for being frozen on the login page doesn't reflect the real reason. I had a friend who was frozen about 6 months ago after her account was illegally accessed. The reason on the login page was the "multiple accounts to gain NPs", but when contacted, TNT explained that her account had been broken into.
