I was updating my lookup when...

There was no option for gender changing!

umm..... i never knew it was there in the first place.... and i dont know really why it would be there.... most people figure it out when they sign up... but if they are still undecided then THATS a little wierd.

why would somebody need to change their gender? Oh, and dont even start talking about that other shnobby doodoo and you know what im talking about. Dont. Even. Start. :oops:

Well, sometimes I like to pose as the other gender when on the NeoBoards. xD Because I've found people are generally nicer to girls.

I remember on the BDC someone had said "Ok, I'm tried of guys winning...Random prize for a girl" and all the guys ran in as girls. X.x

People will change their gender for a prize.

Lots of reasons.

You might give the account to your sister/kid when you got bored of it... Then they'd want to personalize it...

Posing on boards or being a diferent gender so people don't know who you really are (Probably common among people who don't want their peers to know they play, like during work "That's not mine, It's some girls account. I was just checking out their coding in... honest!!")

...And other reasons the neopets team think don't exsist.

I'd like their to be a "none specified" option myself.

I kind of feel sorry for the people that had their option on the wrong one when the option to change was removed, now they can't change back without writing to TNT or something. The whole "what's your gender" thing being there never really bothered me all that much but I can certainly see how it could to some people.

when my partner signed up he didn't have to specify a gender, and that was nice.

my own gender changes so often that i'd like to be able to change it. . . but the thing is that neopets has always been talking about sex, not gender, the whole time. . .

Meh, I've never changed it before, but I can imagine how people would find it funny to do so. And then there are those who were dared to change it or who did it as a joke, right before it became unchangeable.

I've never changed my gender and don't need to. Visiting the neoboards under a fake gender is pointless, IMO.
