Polly wanna cookie?

Barbra Streisand.. did I spell that right?

Oh, I believe I forgot to mention. Amy Lee has never had voice training in her life. I believe that her voice has developed well without it.

Oh I've got a thought about this. If you sing that well without training, why wouldn't you want to improve youself furthur and start. I mean that doesn't really make sense to me, even if your really really good, if you can still improve yourselt, why wouldn't you want to?

I agree with you. If I actually could sing well without voice training, I would try my hardest with voice training or any other method.

To Supprt Ammer:
Ammer has stated that with acoustic songs, Evanescence can do them terrific live. Here are some examples:
1. Bring Me to Life - You might be able to download it
2. Everybody's Fool - Only version I've heard of it is on the behind the scenes features of 'Anywhere but Home'.
3. My Immortal - Go to http://www.launch.com and search under Evanescence, look under their Videos and select the Excluse Yahoo! Performance of My Immortal.
4. Going Under - Same as My Immortal, just select Going Under instead.

Here's my list:

Till Lindemann-Rammstein
"Flake" Lorenz-Rammstein
Serj Tankman- System of a Down
Ozzy Ozbourne

That is all I can think of?!

I'm sorry, but Amy Lee is one of the most overrated singers ever. I mean, yeah okay, she has got a good voice, but she does seem to struggle sometimes.

Has anyone mentioned Annie Lennox? I love her voice, I think she's excellent. Paul Rodgers has an excellent voice too. As does the wonderful Kate Bush. ^_^

I think Brody Dalle has a great voice, though probably some people will disagree with me and say she can't sing for toffee. But she can inject real anger and emotion into her voice, sometimes with impressive almost like howls which can be amazing. Dave Grohl can do the same. :)

Skin from Skunk Anansie had an amazing voice, it's so powerful and beautiful, but I don't know what's happened to her. I know Skunk Anansie split up, but I haven't heard anything about her and what she is up to.

Mm...good voices? I'd say Chris Martin from Coldplay. He's not spectacular, but he sounds really nice and haunting sometimes.

*clings onto A Rush Of Blood To The Head album* Love it.

Tyrannitar, thanks for the support but I think this arguement about Amy Lee should end.

Yes, I'll be quiet about that form now on. ;)
I also think that Billy Joe has an, errr, interesting voice... but what I hear is that most rock bands all sort of sound alike sometimes... and Pierre Bouvier has an, errr, interesting voice, but it changes so much with their second album... and Ryan Cabrera is okay though, but I think he's a bit too, errr, countryish to my taste... *hides in bomb shelter after saying all that*

I think Pierre Bouvier has one of the most irritating voices ever. :/

Ayumi Hamasaki is amazing.

EDIT: Another really good non-English singer is Megumi Hayashibara, who does a lot of the music for the Japanese Shaman King. Seriously, her voice is incredibly versatile...it changes so much from song to song, you'll listen to one and then the next and be like "Woah, that's the same person?"
