Anyone who plays Neopets and announces it publicly faces consequences at our school, mostly in the form of teasing. So if anyone else plays it, they keep heir mouth shut.
Now, knowing that the
majority (i.e not all of them) of players are girls under the age of 12, you can guess that this movie won't be M-Rated, or even going so far as PG. It'll be a downright feel-good-fest of G.
Also, quite often, the writers of the story have more say than the person that came up with the idea. Does that make sense? I mean that, like, in the Harry Potter movies, J.K most likely wanted to add heaps more content, but the director and writers were probably complaining that it was already too long, and cuts had to be made. And that is what I feel will happen to the Neo movie. Adam and Donna will have a lotta awesome ideas for the movie, like a big war, or Sloth chagning everyone topiles of sludge or rampaging Pink Poogle Toys emmitting supersonic sound waves at Advertising companies. But alas, I can't see the movie being more than a typical
'Little Timmy has lost
somethingsomething, and
soandso has to go and find it. Meanwhile,
somebody is planning
something despicable, and
soandso is caught in the middle of it.'
Meh, it'll please the little kiddies at least
But then, it could become great. I mean, I suspected the the Harry Potter movies would be kiddie-fests with cute animals and songs and stuff like that. And look at them now. Not the best movies, but certainly not sing-a-longs. So there's still hope in the movie yet. But first Adam will have to take the WB writers hostage, threaten to force them to eat Asparagus and make them think straight before the movie is written.
Ahh, and I dunno if everyone has the same ratings as in Aus, but I'll just post it here anyway
