i took a look too, theres one on the trading post. i wonder what's going on with that... also if they are going to be paint brushes, are they going to make the other pbs decrease in value is it worth holding on to any you have??
EDIT: hmm, maybe they're going to be like the ice boris or something and if you manage to transfer them they change. ooh, or there were those scratchcard prizes which couldnt be sold around at one point wasnt there?
But i agree, why would a newbie need a plain colour pb?

If you can't sell them, can only get them by creating a new account, and can only paint a pet one of either red, yellow, blue or green with them...
...what good are they, exactly? They're certainly not going to lower inflation on PBs if that's the case -- green, yellow, red and blue PBs aren't really the problem.
That said, I actually have legitimately been thinking of creating a new account for a while, so maybe I'll have a chance to play with one.

i wonder how the person on the trading post got one if you cant sell/trade them, coz their account is 5 months old... *ponders*

I'm assuming that they "cashed in" their newbie pack at this time... and the ability to not trade it has been activated.
It's an interesting idea... I'm assuming that they deicided to create it because oftentime a new member chose the wrong starter color for their first pet and this is used to undo that mistake (although I admit when I started playing I never made that error.)

Yeah they said on the neoboards that they had got it in a random event heh. The neoboards are clogged with newbie pb threads now though 
People have tried opening new accounts only to find they don't get a pb in the newbie pack - I'm guessing because it isn't fully activated yet and they forgot that it could be given out in random events?

well yeah i went to my sons account becuz he never got his newbie pack he didnt get it i went to my husbands account who never got his either and he didnt get it either.. so it must be random

That's just plan odd. I wonder what these Newbie PBs will do and what's their point. I hope they bring down PB inflation. *sighs dreamily* But I am planning on creating a new side account to see what these are. (And yes, I will use it. I've been meaning to make a second account soon anyway.)

lol at that.. that is funny.. but i think it is a random event in newbie packs either that or neo premium because i had two newie packs saved and didnt get anything from them *sigh* it would of been cool though
