New ads possibly in the works?

I visit the shop of offers every day, and recently I've been seeing some new ads there that have me worried....ads that look a bit out of place, designed to be placed on the SIDE of the screen.

A few examples of what I mean:

Is there any plans to be adding another advertisement on that big blank area to the side of neopets pages along with the top banner and the newly added bottom advertisement? I really don't remember seeing these oddly shaped ads before...I'm worried they might be testing them there in the shop of offers to use as side banners opposite the yellow sidebar in the future.

Anyone have more info on this? o_O

That is pretty scary. I have no problems with the top or bottom ads (I like the random Neopets ads at the top, and I never see the bottom ones anyway) but side adds would just be too much.

If TNT is planning on walling in their pages with ads on all sides, I would be quitting much sooner than expected.

That kind of ad has been on the shop of offer for a while. It kind of normal, as that page is meant to have ads. I don't think they are planning for side ads yet.

It's like I said before, They should change their name to keyhole pets instead of neopets. If they keep craming adds to the top, bottom, and sides of the screen, it will be like looking through a key hole...

It has? Hmm...that's odd, because I don't remember seeing them until about a week ago.

Maybe it was just me, or my location or something? o_O

I don't know, but I remember seeing an ad similar to that in the shop of offer months ago...unless my brain is failing me. >_<

Ah. . .It's nice using neopets ad-free. And no, i'm not gonna buy their merchandise until they start doing things right around neopets. It's rediculous how much money they make and so little thought they put into the game.

Yes, they have always been in there, from the time the Shop of Offers was created

They do, however, randomize the ads and such in there. Hence why you might have not noticed them before
