What are the requirements for silver and gold, anyway? Is gold the first 10?
I usually get in quick enough for the prize, but it's so hard to get in fast enough for a trophy upgrade. Probably a lot of the time the first people to solve it don't post on the Neoboards or at PPT, or they share with their friends or guild before giving hints. I don't blame them.
But I do wish TNT would change it so it's a little easier to get a better trophy now that there are so many players at Neopets.

I believe that silver is the first 50, so top 10 would make sense.

Thank you everyone for the great hints! I know i was like the last one to find it ~_~ but I'm just glad I solved it with the rest of the wonderful people here at ppt ^_^ i had missed the last 3 because I couldn't find them so thank you again to everyone!

Ha, it's no more blatant than all the other clues. If you go type the species name into the search, you're not going to get anything -- it only makes sense after you know the answer. I'll delete it, though, because I don't want everyone complaining I'm giving it away.
