Argh! Everytime I go on Neopets to try to do anything (i.e. the bank, a quest, shop wizard) the website takes me to:

Quote:
ERROR : Oops you have been directed to this page from the wrong place! If you KEEP getting this error, chances are you have some security settings enabled that are not letting you play Neopets correctly.

This just happened today and Neopets worked perfectly fine for me yesterday. >_<

Could it be because of my Cookie settings? They're on medium right now.

Image Thanksies Dawn, sorry I didn't see it before. ^___^

It's most likely your Cookie settings. When we first got this computer than kept happening to me. It still did it, then we also found out it was partly because of those settings and the firewall. -_-

as soon as I go to a page it shows an older webpage or the same screen that I saw when I last went to that page.

example: go to the toy shop and notice there are still 5 keyrings there. I watch a movie and turn my computer back on. I go to the toy shop and those same keyrings are still there from before I saw the movie. If I refresh it shows what items are there currently (for example a plushie or two)

sorry If I ound too confusing but I tried to describe it the best that I could.

I recently downloaded mozilla, and then my computer frequently started to shut down and restart itself. Is there a way to stop this without deleting mozilla?

Could you provide more detail? System specs, what exactly happens, any error messages, etc. It's likely not Mozilla because alot of people use mozilla without a problem. But we can't help you further without more info, or else we'd be making uneducated guesses.

Well, the screen suddenly turns black, and restarts itself. It's not sasser worm or anything, because I dled a patch against that.

It might have been another program I downloaded during the same time, so I deleted that one. Hopefully it's fine now.

Does it do it at a specific event, such as when you're playing a game? You're probably using Windows XP right?

Not really. I'm usually chatting and listening to music, what I do normally.

Well, my computer acted that way before and I removed/reinstalled my graphic card and then updated the drivers, and it worked fine after that. So if you want, you can try that.

Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Temporary Internet Files > Settings. Click on "Every Visit to the Page." After that, delete your Temporary Internet Files. The websites you visit should always update itself now.
