Okay, I've edited the top post. IT might be a bit messy, but it should include most of the important info people have mentioned here :)

How do you remove the little button that's on the yellow bar on the left, in IE?

Will Adblock also work with Netscape? I think it would considering Firefox and Netscape are very similar (and Netscape is often referred to as Mozilla on those things that tell you which browser you're using and such).

Yes, Adblock does indeed work with Netscape. I have Netscape 7.0, which is based on the Mozilla engine. When I downloaded the Adblock extension, it attached itself effortlessly onto my Netscape. Works like a charm! :)

Yay! Thank you muchly! This'll be useful at other sites I visit, I'll bet.

I constantly get the CDI college ad:

http://cdn2.adsdk.com/CDN/56006/cdi_9088a_300_v2.gif

I've tried blocking it as:

127.0.0.1 http://cdn2.adsdk.com
127.0.0.1 http://cdn2.adsdk.com/*
127.0.0.1 http://cdn2.adsdk.com/CDN/56006/*
127.0.0.1 http://cdn2.adsdk.com/CDN/56006/cdi_9088a_300_v2.gif

And it still shows up :( How do I get rid of it?

By the looks of it, you're trying to use the HOSTS file method. You need a line like this:
Code:
127.0.0.1 cdn2.adsdk.com

(No http:// or wildcards. Just the hostname.)

Wow, for a while there, I thought this thread died :P

Excellent petpage Shark! I've added a link to it at the bottom of my first post :) Even if you can't update it, it's a valuable resource. Cheers :)

I'll try my best to add more ads (bad joke, I know) to the list, but I've got a feeling we've reached the majority of them. Even so, you never know what new kinds of sponsors might join up, so...
