Ive noticed this week there arent as many restocks as there have been. I dont know if its my imagination but it will restock a couple of times then it will take ages for another one to appear. I know the restocks are random but there just seems to be more time in between each one..my imagination?

I got 3 Ice Lollies a few min ago, but I do find it will be more time inbetween. Instead of about 10-15 it used to be it seems more like 20-25 now

Oh good, I'm not hallucinating. I thought restocks were slower than usual...

BOOHISS! Like it wasn't hard enough already. I have a DSL connection, but I feel really horrible for people still on 56k... imagine waiting forever to for the now-slower restocks only to find that BECAUSE they're happening less often, there are triple the amount of people waiting to buy.

*saves her restocks for the early A.M. hours to give people with slower connections a chance*

People in other parts of the world RS during your "early AM hours" and are much more likely to have slow connections, since some countries may not be advanced enough to have almost-full broadband coverage yet, unlike USA. ;)

And in the first place, I doubt people on 56ks even attempt to restock. It is just too impractical.

Edited for accuracy :P

First off, it may surprise some of my fellow Americans that not ALL of the USA has access to broadband coverage. I live in a tiny rural hamlet in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Northern California. Although satellite is available, it doesn't work very well for any of my neighbors. All of us must rely on dial-up connections, and they are not 56k baud. We're lucky if the phone lines allow us a 28.8k connection -- most of the time it's 26.6k.

Second, you're right about restocking. I gave up on that about 3 years ago. I rely on games and the stock market for my NPs.

Sometimes I kick myself for moving away from San Diego. Trading the beach for the mountains, and high-speed access for this frustrating connection wasn't worth it. :(

Looking to buy Snowbunny Stamp and Sticky Snowflake Stamp. If you're selling, please PM me!

This is really sad, because I remember them saying in the News that they were going to be increasing the number of restocks a bit not that long ago.

Well that's interesting, because I don't remember seeing that and because I feel like restocks actually have become much more frequent within the last 2 or 3 days. I was even going to make a post about it to see if anyone agreed. Those 30 minute blocks of no restocking have always been around but they seem much less frequent to me.

Unfortunately all the items still come in at the same time, thus I can only grab one profitable item at a time per restock. Back in the old days when items used to restock every 5 seconds over the course of a minute to a minute and a half I could grab 6 - 8 profittable items per restock.

There have been fewer restocks I think. I restock in book shop. Sometimes though there are 4 minute intervals. It is really just luck.
