Also, most of the ones that tehOmega posted are not in the list on the webpage, so you want to add them to the hosts file too.

Example:
http://ad.sensismediasmart.com.au/*

add: "127.0.0.1 ad.sensismediasmart.com.au" to the file.

:D Great to see I've been of some help :D

If you see any more ads load up, find out their URL and post it here. I'll update the top post :)

Oh and, notanderson_neo, I hope you don't mind, but I put your information on blocking the ads on IE at the top post. It just makes things easier :)

The whole adbar at the top of the page disappears or is it a blank orange spot like when the ad doesn't load?

If you use the css formatting, then it will actually disappear.

I did everything said in the firs tpost, but I still get occasional adverts such as http://imp.partner2profit.com/bt/p2p.gi ... 1022648546

I wouldn't know what to do to block those ones though.

add "127.0.0.1 imp.partner2profit.com" to the hosts file.

if you can't find it, use Windows Explorer and do a search in C: for "hosts." Click on it to see the directory.

Some computers have that folder simply called WINDOWS.

C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts

Will Adblock also work with Netscape? I think it would considering Firefox and Netscape are very similar (and Netscape is often referred to as Mozilla on those things that tell you which browser you're using and such).

One adblocking thing I that works is to change which language you view Neopets in. I'm looking at it in Spanish, and most of the sponser ads in the little banner are gone, there's only Neopets-related stuff in the top banner, and there's no bottom banner whatsoever. The only problem is that you'll have to know another language.

You can't block stuff from the site you're already at, unless you want to stop going to that site all together. :)

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.
