This is my second attempt at photo-manipulation... I redid the hair about 4 times, and i'm still not satisfied with it :\

Whoa! I love it! It looks very realistic and the girl blends in perfectly with the background. However, I don't like to say this, but the head looks a bit distorted and "out of it"...maybe it's the hair, like you said. Actually, how did you elongate the hair? I love the hair itself

Thanks, and now that I look, the head does look a bit odd...
As for the hair, um.. Basicly its brush strokes, blured a bit, and then a lighter, thinner stroke over it...

Hmm, i'v got another question... I just saw the pic on the main computer in the house, which has a larger screen, and I noticed that there is this wierd lighter green strokes on the grass, but I don't see it on my laptop...
Does anyone else see it?

I like it . One thing that sort of throws me off is the way the legs are. If I hadn't seen the original I wouldn't have been able to distinguish the legs too well. The piece of wood sort of throws it off and the grass blending through the legs looks a little awkward to me. I love all the rest though, it's like a painting.

About the legs... The shoes did no go well at all the background, so I managed to get the shoes off, but even barefoot it looked like she was floating...
So I just made her ghost-ish.
It does look odd that her legs have a grassy texture... But hopefully next time i'll be able to blend picture together better
