For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

No, silly, seriously, you're my favourite. :)

Now why is that?

It really sort of seems like you took the image and stuck on text...Er...The text box needs some sort of color filled into it so text could be added. There needs to be some sort of overlay or design to the blog too, as it's sort of dull looking with just the image.

I made Harry and the Snitch brighter-coloured than the rest of the image, and made everything else more dully-coloured. I also made both Harry and said Snitch glow slightly, and then outlined the Snitch with a soft white glow, so it would stand out more. And the text box is filled with orange, at a low opacity- though, now that I look at it again, it does look like I didn't fill it with anything. =/

Scholastic, polarbearpop, watericesage, fzun and Dawn2 cannot participate in this round.

Round 3
-Make a livejournal icon
-No red
-The image needs to be from a photograph
-Obviously, the dimensions should be no larger than 100x100
-If you're not sure if it's red, ask. If it's ridiculously close to red, don't bother asking and change it so it isn't red.

:)

So, can the photograph be of an actor or something?

Tue Feb 15, 2005 1:09 am

It is a photograph someone took... I hope it counts. :P
EDIT: That part of the pancake is supposed to be magenta, not red... I tried to make it look less red, but instead it looked more red, but I think it's okay. XP

First stab at colourising. (you probably can't tell from the original image, but bits get mighty red when you overlay.)

I'm going to have to ask, Flame, if you deem any red in this picture?

Yes, there is text at the top of the image. Sorry if you can't see it; it says, 'Along came a'. Because I decided to use part of the Little Miss Muffet nursery rhyme. =)

ETA: Changed it because I didn't like how I had placed the text. Original icon can be found here.
