And as usual, I missed it :/ Plain old yellow bar for me.

Same for me... Nothin but the plain old yellow sidebar... Couldn't they at least make some free alternate color sidebars?I mean yellow is just so... Bleh.

Yah, like instead of yellow, red or blue, even purple!

My favorite color is yellow, but a change once in a while might be nice. Ooh, I think purple would be really cool.

Knowing neopets they would probably slap on some icky orange dots with the purple sidebar

Yep, I had the same timezone problem. I did get a chance to see it, but it was really late here. And it was just released, so no one knew how to unlock it yet. And when I came from school... Well, same old plain dull stupid yellow. :/

I really wished that I would have at least gotten the halloween sidebar. I really loved it, for me it looks... cozier o__O

I really don't understand the way TNT is going about the sidebars at all. It's almost like they sat down and said, "So, how should we go about adding this new feature so we can smurf off as many players as possible?"

Making a few sidebars very difficult to unlock and use would be fine, just like some secret avatars are difficult to unlock. Making it so all sidebars are extremely difficult to unlock and use is just daft. It's like they're dangling this yummy feature in front of our nose to taunt us but are refusing to give it to us. It feels like they're toying with us and that's not fun.

I think TNT ought to release default sidebar options. They needn't be fancy: just re-color the background in a small assortment of colors, maybe do one or two with a simple decorative motif. Making a few "special day" sidebars that weren't next to impossible to unlock would be nice, too.

Really, I think it would have been better to make the holiday sidebars impossible to unlock (like the birthday one is) then to make them unlockable in difficult, frustrating and inane ways.

What I find especially mystifying about the V-Day sidebar is that it comes hard on the heels of the bottom banner ad, which they must have known was going to upset their players. You'd think they'd want to make it an easy sidebar to obtain to pacify us, sort of like the free avatar they gave us when they increased the size of the top banner.

Instead, they give us a hard-to-get Valentine's banner, complete with late-synching too-bad-for-non-US-users goodness. It's like they're trying to see how many of their users they can alienate in a 7-day period.

Heh, tnt really haven't done a great job with this sidebar malarkey - we were all happy with the yellow sidebar before they started introducing new ones, and now everyone hates it!

Here's what I do about the whole sidebars scenario. I use a program called the proxomitron. Its like a filter, and you can set it to replace an image with another image. So what I did was tell it to replace the normal yellow sidebar with the valentines sidebar, so now I have the V-Day sidebar even when I select the yellow sidebar. I can also make my own sidebars... I made this one as a test...http://img.photobucket.com/album ... IDEBAR.gif. Keep in mind that that sidebar comes up on every page for me, because I set the filter to do say. So it's just like having my own sidebar! Neat-o, huh?

Unot, thats really cool!! Its a good idea too. So you just tell the program to put the image over the sidebar on every page, and voila? How cool!!
