Maraquan Paint Brush help

A couple of questions if I could...

I really REALLY want to get a Maraquan Paint Brush for my Grarrl....

Is there any way outside of Art contests to get a Maraquan paint brushe?
I heard there was a random painter event that gave them out...but in all my years I have never gotten that one..

I also heard something you can get a random paint brush by signing up
friends..but I have no idea how that works exactly and how long they have to be on to get the paint brush...

Also, would a million points be considered descent for a Maraquan Paint Brush? I see they normaly try to go for 1.5Mill..but I just don't have that many points anymore...I gave away a lot of my stuff...so any help on how to get a Maraquan Paint Brush would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can get Paintbrushes from Random Events, and several other places. The Alien Aisha vending machine gives out paintbrushes, I'm not sure if it gives out that particular kind though...

You can also get paintbrushes from referring 10 people, although I thought that section of the site hasnt been updated in ages. So it could just be the basic paintbrushes.

Yeah. i was hopeing there was something else that gave out some of the rarer ones. How long do the people have to use Neopets before they count the referral? My friends have short attention spans.

Also...is 1Million a good price? or will I have to stop with the lever of doom and hope to save another half million?

Judging by current prices, it looks like you need the extra half a million. Mind you that could fluctuate. I think some Maraquan pets have been recently released and that usually creates extra demand. Just keep saving!

You'll also have to keep in mind that with the Maraqua TCG expansion and the new plot comming up that Maraqua stuff of all kinds will probably go up in popularity. Just keep saving and keep an eye on prices.

I figured that would probably push it up..hence why I wanted to try and get it down because when things inflate like that it seems to be forever until they return...

There is also 'A beautiful Fire Faerie', but I think she only gives out Petpet Paint Brushes... I'm not sure. She might give out Paint Brushes...

Um... you might have a chance of getting one at the Fruit Machine... I don't know what type that gives out though.

I got a Maraquan Grarrl through the lab ray. I loved him *missing old account*

Right now is not a good time to buy witht the Maraquan Plot coming up.

I believe its also possible to get paint brushes from the Fruit Machine if you get a really lucky spin. In all the time I've been playing, I've only ever got it once though...

Sadly I only have about 1.5 million left after the lever of doom fiasco....anyone willing to part with one for that price? Please.

EDIT: Will the price of the paint brush go down after this storyline?

You don't quite understand my luck...in all of the time I have been playing the best thing I have gotten was a Transmorgification potion...and I haven't seen any random event for almost a week now...that includes playing games like Tyranu Eavavu and Snow Wars....Not to mention I spent a considerable fortune on the lever of doom to get the avatar...a mistake on my part.,..I guess the only way I know of getting points is through games...that combined with bad luck doesn't leave me much *laughs*
