Wow, I honestly didn't think I'd make it this far. I was, and still am, afraid that being a leader will come back to hurt me in the end. I do want to address whoever voted for me in the last Hakunmatata Tribal. I am sorry you do not think I am active, and I really truly try to participate in challenges (like the Roman Numerals one - - GAH! My brain is still fried from that one, darn brackets!).

As for the name . . . I'm going to go the obvious route and suggest a combination of the names.

Hakunavalentia?

Valenamatata?

Ziggy, as you might have been able to tell, I was the person who voted for you. It wasn't anything personal, and since I'd only been there for about three days I was only going by the things you had posted in the past (having no previous experience with any of the Hakuna people).

I happen to really love Superstes. I'm a sucker for Latin. <3

I like Vita more. :P

I want a latin name...tribe...thing. xD

I know! Let's take a leaf out of IDB's book! Only let's name the tribe shourter than "The"... Let's call the tribe

L

Sun Feb 13, 2005 11:01 pm

Haha. :P

My suggestions:

Nauro: Werewolf
Sinya: New

Correctly guess what language and sublanguage they are in, and I'll give you a cookie or two! :o

Sun Feb 13, 2005 11:15 pm

No thank you, I'm not a cookie girl, I prefer Dove chocolates. :P

I'm still for Superstes, but as a second choice I wouldn't mind Vita. :)

Qanda enters. "Time to up the heat... there will be no reward challenge today. Instead, there will be an elimination challenge. Elimination challenges are ones which eliminate instantly people who fail to complete it. They are as important or even more so than immunity challenges. Yes, there are past activities in which people could be eliminated (including the current Survivor Activity 2), but they are not strictly called elimination challenges because no one necessarily has to be eliminated. In an elimination challenge, there will definitely be at least one person who will get eliminated."

Elimination Challenge: Will you be my valentine?

In this elimination challenge, you must find someone in the tribe to be your partner. Each person must have one and only one partner. Each person must PM me telling me who they are going to partner.

To have your partner choice qualified, the person you named in your PM as partner must also name you as his (or her) partner is his PM.

The person who does not submit the above PM before time runs out, cannot find a partner or his choice of a partner disagrees with him (meaning that you named someone as a partner in your PM but that person named someone else), will be eliminated.

As you can see, there are 9 people in the tribe currently and there is bound to be one person who will be eliminated. So act fast and snatch your partners before they run out!

You have 48 hours to complete this.

i pick you qanda! <3

hehe a chance for us to even up the score a little hakuna members! We have 4 members so we're pretty safe! They are gonna lose one of their players... hopefully its a decent one! :D

From now on you are all in the same tribe and each of you are fighting for your ownselves. Old tribal allegiances have no meaning now, other than to serve as a convenient model (though not necessarily) for alliances.

Results of Survivor Activities

For the tribe name, it seems that Superstes and Vita are the most popular (counting the people who suggested it). Therefore, I shall cast the tie-breaking vote and vote for... Superstes, since it is directly related to the name of the game (Survivor). ;)

Results for Activity Second Chance will be announced after the coming tribal council.

Does immunity from the immunity challenge give immunity from the elimination challenge? o_O

No it doesn't, since the elimination challenge ends first, and the person eliminated will not even be around for tribal council.

Hey Qanda, I have a question; if we do not do the immunity challenge will we be automatically ejected? Not that I am doing that, just curious for future challenges.

No you wouldn't. I would have mentioned it in the rules if it were so.

I think there is need to clarify on this. If you do not wish to do a challenge, you do not have to send me a PM telling me so. Non-submittance is automatically treated as voluntary withdrawal from that challenge. Unless I expressedly said that failing to do something would result in elimination, by default nothing will happen other than you forfeiting your chances to get the reward/immunity.
