Furniture Prices

hmm,

Just wondering if anyone has any clue as to why furniture prices are plummetting at the moment.

Beauty beds are around the $13K were over $50 last week
Tiger beds are under $10K
Fire Faerie oven about $5K were $20K last week...

they are just 3 of so many.... wow......

WOW such a great time to furnish the neohome... :D

but why such a dramatic price drop?

just wondering?

Ahhhhhhh it happens just as I'm broke (well, more than usual) I have 2k! :cry: I've wanted a beauty bed for like a year. Hope this lasts a while :]
For the record, no I have no idea why...

Edit: there, my kitchen has more than just a techo clock :lol:

did you notice that after you posted that the price of beauty bed went up 5k

OH LOL Thats certainly not why I posted and I didnt expect that would happen, Im just wondering why its happening..

i think its because people dont care, battledome you get trophies and can actitually compete with others where in ur neohome you have a 1 in 50 000 chance of winning a spotlight, and that only costed you about 500k, people just dont care nemore, thanks for the heads up tho i bought a stove and a tiger bed, then i was banned from the wiz :x but yeah

I don't know about you guys, but neohomes haven't been working for me since early this morning. Nobody else has mentioned it yet, so I guess that I'm the only one here who cant load neohomes :x

edit: I can now load neohomes, but I was trying to add some posters to a room earlier today and didn't have the option of putting it in a room...and when I looked at my user lookup, I didn't have a neohome and neither did anyone else. Now it's back to normal. Anyone know what happened there?

I was actually going to ask the same thing. It didn't drop gradually, either: on Friday night I bought a Kauvara Bed for around 26k, the lowest on the Wiz. It didn't work out in the room the way I hoped, so I put it in my shop at the same price I bought it for. On Saturday I checked out the Wiz again and discovered the price had dropped 16k, to 10k, literally overnight. (It seems to have rebounded slightly now, but only slightly.)

Since I'm a gamer losing 16k isn't chump change for me, either -- it's more than I'd make in a day if I don't have any stocks to sell.

This, typically, happens just AFTER I did a major Neohome makeover. If I'd waited a week I'd probably have saved a massive amount of NP. I never thought deflation would smurf me off, but it managed to hit at just the worst possible time for me. :-(

So this isn't just a "people aren't interested" thing. Trust me, I've bought plenty of furniture over the last few weeks: prices have plunged, as I said, literally overnight. Something must have happened to cause it.


EDIT: I just went to buy some fresh bamboo mats while the prices are low because I had wanted some to put in my Neohome in my last makeover but decided they weren't worth the money. In the shop that had them cheapest I they had the following message:

"At the moment, I'm having some kind of glitch in my favor and I'm getting a MILLION Fresh Bamboo Mats so I'm selling them WAY CHEAP! Buy Buy Buy while they last!"

This makes me wonder if there's some sort of furniture-related glitch going on this weekend? Because the prices have really dropped damatically since Friday.

If there is, is it "exploiting a glitch" to buy/have bought the cheap furniture that resulted on the Wiz?

Yes I know I cant believe it, which is why I started this thread, so we might be able to get some insight into it.. It has me stumped.. LOL...

The same thing happened to me. I sold a fire Faerie oven for round the 22K on Friday night, Saturday morning they had plunged down to 5K.

and whats even weirder is ppl seem to be selling 10 or more of one item for insanely low prices. Like 10 orange Kreludan beds for 4k each..


The prices on the faerie furniture are just unheard of too, wow, thats so low... ......

I think I heard mention of items being dupped when you took them out of the neohome?

If people are selling duped items, that would explain the sudden increase in the number that are being sold.

Oh Wow.. now that would make sense... though what will happen, Ive been buying things since they are cheap, and Im sure everyone has too....

Could we get in trouble for buying them? I didnt even know there was a glitch till you have just posted reading that when buying the mats. Far as I can see I was buying them in good faith.....

This would also explain why ppl on the trades are asking so little for the lots, then they accept it immediately as well.

I thought it was garden items that were duplicated ( theres a post further down) so its furniture too then?
