Oh, my, the stories make me laugh so hard.
"As Rorie carried out Enxor's bags, Kelin listened as Enxor spoke about the importance of being ready, in case a civil emergency took place." xDDD
EDIT: Oh, my...
"How come serving in the military is mandatory?" Horag asked. "After all, aren't there other countries where military service is voluntary?"
EDIT AGAIN:
The game says "bomb!"
Quoted from "The Straits Times", Feb 4, 2005 (Singapore's English Newspaper)
Neopets in Total Defence campaign FIVE fictional pet characters are part of this year's
Total Defence campaign.
Berryl, Ms Enxor Tyndall, Horag, Ms Kellin and Rorie are the names of Neopet characters - online pets which can be adopted in a game where players earn points by solving puzzles.
Interactive scenarios will teach the five-pronged concept of Total Defence - psychological, social, economic, civil and military defence - first introduced in 1984.
The game, developed by the Education and Defence ministries together with Neopets Asia, will be one of the key highlights at the six-day Total Defence exhibition in Suntec City, which starts on Feb 15.
The game can be played online at the Neopets website until May 14.
Photos showing people from different walks of life engaging in various aspects of Total Defence will be on display, as will a set of icons designed by a Temasek Polytechnic student.
Singapore Idol finalist Olinda Cho will make a guest appearance to sing the campaign's theme song, There's A Part For Everyone, which is also the campaign's tag line.
The campaign, which will also include schools, mu- seums and grassroots organisations, will run until Aug 31.
A Total Defence photo competition will also be held from Feb 15 to May 15.
? I think you have to register to see it though.
