I believe the prices fluctuate every half hour, though they could also remain at the same price.

Other than Neodaq, the Neodaq guild, Stock Benefit provides helpful daily advice on what to buy and what to sell.

Neodaq is SBG's website. :) Well, kinda. The owner of Neodaq is in SBG, and in the Neodaq forums are SBG forums, but the info and main forums are open to everyone of course. :)

Quite truthfully, anyone who buys 1k shares a day, following the advice given at either the SBG or Neodaq, could make np. Although it would take a while for your portfolio to grow and see much of a return, you could easily turn a profit. I think a monkey could do it. :P

Just another darkshadow...

I've been doing the stack market for a little more than a year now and in that time, I have watched my investments grow from about 100k to more than 2 million, plus side investments in some big ticket items.

It can be extremely profitable if you have the patience to put the money in there and just let it sit until the market hits the price you set to sell at.

I'm finally back for the summer, although hopefully I'll spend a little more time away from this screen.

I don't have the patiance, or the money. I just can't stand looking at all that money just sit there.

Actually, I know what you mean. It took me a little while too. I started out with a sell price of about 20, then I gradually moved up to 30, then 45, now I'm at 60. My long term goal is to be finacially secure enough to wait until a stock hits 100 before selling. It's really all about steps and never ever ever selling for a loss. :)

I've been playing the stock market for several years, and I'm now making a million a month. :) This month was a little more, it was a great selling month. :)

I'm very excited by the 2 new stocks, I just wish they were activated...

Could you let me know what your current sell point is? (I'd like to know what I'm aiming for in the long run.)

Yes, this month was a huge selling month. It was great. By far the most profitable month I've had for awhile.

As for selling points ... my general thing is this.

I sell about 1/3 of my shares when it hits 30.
I sell about 1/3 more when it hits 45.
I sell almost all the rest at 60.
The remaining few I keep to dream about having them skyrocket up to 500 a share or so.

That's my strategy ... may not be the best, but how I do it.

Well lesse.. not including the ones that are currently below 15 (and I never sell stocks at a loss), I've got about 320K profit so far... that's above and beyond the 540K that I've invested.
What I've done, too, is diversify my stocks... when they reach a certain point I sell just enough to by 15 shares @ 1000 of another stock, thereby lessening the chance of one stock causing me to loose money.

I've been reevaluating my 'rules' for selling.. I can post more on that if anyone's interested.

:o :x The stock I am heavily invested in was at 59 (I sell at 60) and then dropped like bungee diver :( . There goes my 700k profit.

I used the stock market once to make some money and come out with a 300k profit. I don't remember what stock it was exactly because it was over a year ago but I know I had a ton of it and sold it all JUST before it dropped to zero...

I was sighing a big sigh of relief after that...
