It's about the same speed for me.

Besides how to unlock it, I'm wondering what advantages it gives. Remember when they said each sidebar would give different advantages and such? I hope they added something interesting with this one.

Also, has anyone received neomail, neofriend requests, trading messages, etc. with this sidebar yet? I'd like to see how those icons have changed for the wintery theme.

They haven't changed.

I've already gotten 2 neomails asking how I got the halloween side bar.

some of the chatter on the Neoboards is to play the Winter Wonderland level of HatIC .. I've completed the level, but waiting for Neo to actually load before sending my score. -.-

Notice that they said "figure out how". From that I'd say it's something WE have to do, not a random event.

I'm going to try a few different things, if Neo can manage to stay up long enough.
