I think its because it doesnt allow you to link an image from another site using HTML?

I think everyone uses CSS now...

*swears*

My sidebar isn't working! It got moved funny! This is like the...80 bajillionth time Neopets has changed it! Can't they leave well enough alone?

*grr* What am I supposed to do now?

It used to be:
Code:
<div style="width:124px; height:850px; position:absolute; left:5px; top:-60px !important;">
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v282/cat1205123/sidebar2.png" width="124" height="850" border="0" class="visib" usemap="#a">
</div>

It's now:

Code:
-blocked- <IMG class=visib height=850 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v282/cat1205123/sidebar2.png" width=124 useMap=#a border=0>
<DIV></DIV>

*Goes to lockdown mode*
*Emergency light turns on*

Alert...alert...immediate shutdown of all userlookups.

cat, my sidebar is working fine, I just checked. We do use completely different codes. It took me a long time to figure one out that would work completely and correctly.

Other images I don't know. I do know that some lookups last night were getting -blocked- on their background and image codes. blocked is all that showed up on the lookup, and the view source was really weird. I have no idea what's going on! But I can say that mine and some others I've looked at? the first style type="thing is now just <style> - I know I typed the whole thing. weirdness!

see if this code (changing numbers on height and width) will work at all

Quote:
<style>
i.sidebar{background:url(your image url);height:735;width:131;position:absolute;top:45;left:0;z-index:-2}
#n{background:transparent}img{filter:chroma(color=white)}p img{filter:chroma(color=white)}img{filter:alpha(opacity=0)}
td,table{background:transparent;}
</style>

Could it depend on your firewall? If you have Zone Alarm, set it to not block animations.

My look up is fine at the moment, although a day or two it went crazy and everything was screwed up, then it randomly fixed itself. o_O

It looks like anything with the work link in it in a code, whether html or css is not getting through. So if you have something named myblinkie.gif (I bolded the link), it's reading link.

Petpages are also being affected by this, as are shops and I would guess pet descriptions.

The is something weird with these new filters, I will say that. On my gallery account I have Neofriend Requests: Closed, Neomail: Mostly Open Now it says Neomail: Mostly -blocked-

What on earth would the 2 words mostly open possibly mean other than just that? I hate having to try to think up a new pw just to change 2 words in my b table! And yes, I'm not one of the people who can just put the same pw in all 3 spots - I have to change it or I keep getting error messages.
