Stupid sons of zeus

:x

I was restocking a faerie pen, and had haggled it down to 999nps, entered the code and pressed enter. And the shopkeeper then asked for more, i put in more but by that time the item was sold. It's so irritating that even when i have the sale down the shopkeeper can pull out.

I hate that they have that code thing now as well!

Oh that code :x I'm on dial up, so rs'ing was always a challenge. Now I don't even bother. And according to people on the BD there are still ab'ers out there that somehow can get past the code. So all that's happening is the honest players have even less chance to get something from the shops and things just keep getting more expensive.

I actually like Kauvara's code. It's clamped down a lot on those autobuyer progroms --> which gives you a chance to actually buy the item much less see it stocked in the shops.

I dun mind the code, but I hate it when I enter the code and the shopkeeper decided to change his mind again. :x

It's clamped down on many of them, but there's still a few around that can get around the code >.<

Typical that they had to bring in the code just when I wanted to start RSing properly, though.

You get used to the code quite quickly (it's on another online pet site *gets killed for saying it*), but you don't get used to the shopkeepers double-backing on you and asking for higher.

Like last night for me during restocking...grrrrrrr...

Yeah.... pretty easy to get around the codes.

There are a lot of programs designed to register loads of accounts with various things on the internet, and part of the signup process involves entering a code in picture EGCD56 with lines and graininess over it. If you have a program that recognises the letters and numbers in it, have some programming skills and the source code to both an AB and a character recognition program, en peut combiner les deux avec ease, unfortunately.

why do the shopkeepers get to haggle again, you don't see us going 'i think i want to pay 50nps' after we've bought the item.

Shopkeeper : Hey, you have to give me 320 atleast!
Me : Alright! Here: 320!
Shopkeeper : Alright! Now enter Kauvara's code!
Me enters it
Shopkeeper : Hold on a second, i demand 200 more!
Me : That's not even worth that much in the shop wizard! I'm not buying it!
Shopkeeper :
GET OUT OF MY SHOP!

that is pretty annoying indeed.

My only problem with Kauvaras Code is that sometimes is does not load. You just get thrown straight off because your waiting and you know that your time is running out.

Drives me up the wall and through the window. :x

Although I always second guess that I wanted to haggle a little lower than what I paid for, does that count? ;P
