Well, I saw several during my daily money tree surfing. Too bad I never see, say, Tiki Armour there. :P

Apparently this is how much people think about the war prize for all those below 9999 pts. wonder if anyone even discarded it or donated it to the money tree ...

I found one for only 2nps, heh, I think you're right! :D

Anyways, I've decided to collect them so I'll buy any that people are wanting to get rid of for 300-400nps each.

You know what I've decided is the worst thing about these war prizes? That we waited soooo long for the silly things! Not only was there questions about if we were even going to get something but even once TNT stated a time they should have them done by we still had to wait past that. Evidentally the delays had nothing to do with the war or its prizes otherwise the prizes might have been reasonable.

I was a little disappointed by the war prizes that were given out... I earned 157 points for Hannah and was rewarded with 1,000 neopoints and a Clockwork Icy Skeleton, while my friend, who earned 27 points, recieved the same thing! Shouldn't there have been greater rewards for those who earned more points, like in the last war? :( - hollyday312
The way this war was organised didn't totally please us either. We are working on a new way to make it fairer for everyone so people with higher level pets can't get massive amounts of points but repeatedly beating the little guys. The next plot will most probably not have a war, but the one after will and this new system of working out points for the battle will be in place then. That way we can be more precise with giving out prizes and such.

Great. So, I guess we aren't going to be compensated for our hard work in the battles and the not-so-good prizes we got.

I honestly don't think it's an excuse after Battle For Meridell, by far because it was more organized.... heck even the war that proceeded it was more organized and that one I have my conserns about. With all this delay for the prizes to be released, something by far more balnaced could have been figured out and compromised.

*Sigh* FIgures. BUt I'm unsure what they mean about the better organization of the next War thing. Would that mean that their capping scores on all oppoents? Let's say this..

Mutant Icy Grundo of Death - Difficulty 56
So, let's say Hrobi or someone like them fights this opponent. Does that means all users who can go past most users are going to have a cap? Say 500x you can only fight this one and win/score points?

No one PAY ATTENTION [size=9]my signature!

I always thought the point was, the stronger your pets, the more points you can earn. If they wont let you get lots of points, then whats the point in training them?

Fri Jan 28, 2005 2:51 pm

So you can fight the stronger opponents as much as you can.

I like how they chose a question comparing 157 vs. 27 war points ... rather than choosing a question that compared someone with *0* to someone with 3400.

Yet more bogusness.

*Shrug* It's done...We can't say anything else about it it seems...

Because those questions probably contained more swearwords :P

That is very true. :P

I think a cap would be horrible. I mean, it's tough enough as it is. Now people with medium pets would have a cap on the lowers apponents they could actually get points from and then get kicked out of the battle? Sometimes it's a big jump from one opponent level to the next. It is just not possible for some people to fight the higher level because of their stats, equipment, or whatnot, while they could still get points out of the lower levels. That would cut a lot of people out of the battle very early.

On the subject of the war prizes being worse because of the unlimited number of opponents, i'd gladly go back to how it was in the Meridell War I, if it meant some better prizes.
