Woohoo for a fast round. Now we just need the judges to judge them.

Yes, Requiem, you'll be judging from now on.

And! You guys are fast :P One day before deadline.

Okay, judges, AGAIN choose 3 people to be eliminated along with what you always do, rate/comment the subtexts.

Kitten Medli: Always there *fade* In our hearts
Not a bad subtext. I think it's a little soft, given Coltzan's sort of crafty appearance in the picture. Not bad.

Amarise: A mighty king,
defender of the
defenceless,
noble in word and deed.

While a good subtext, this one is just too long. Even if it fits on the sig, one of the things I value in a subtext is that it's short but gets the message through.

Dawn2: Defender of the Downtrodden
Not much I can say about this one. Good job.

Twinkle: A True Legend *fades* A True King
I love this subtext. It fits the picture and the idea of the sig perfectly. Wonderful!

Robert2100: A noble ruler*fade*Alive in spirit
Another good one. The 'noble' part fits very well with the picture.

DM was on fire!: What would you like, young Neopet?
I don't think this fits the sig at all. In the picture, Coltzan does not look like the benevolent guy we visit every day.

Ammer: God of Gold
Not bad at all. It certainly fits well with the image.

Hellyer Here for a blessing?: *fade in* Step right up.
Same goes here as with DM...this just doesn't fit the picture.

Eliminate
DM
Hellyer
Amarise

Well, I don't want to sound like a sore loser, but I completely disagree with that. It might just me be but the whole reason I submitted that subtext was becuase I think he looks exactly like he is saying (or thinking) something along those lines. I actually thought DMs was one of the best ones there.

But then again, the judges are there to express their opinions, and that is what you did. I am just also expressing mine.

Ammer - A nice short quote that suits the picture well. Though "technically" Coltzan wasn't a god as such xP

robert2100 - Perhaps this would have fit in better if it showed a picture of Coltzan's ghost/spirit. In the image it shows Coltzan alive and kicking...remember that just because a quote relates to a figure of the image doesn't mean it relates to the situation.

hellyer - Like robert2100 it suits the figure and not the situation depicted in the image. This quote would go with a picture of the shrine etc and not Coltzan himself. The fade makes a nice touch but a picture of Coltzan surrounded by treasure doesn't really relate to blessings

Dawn2 - Long before this round I voiced my opinions on copied quotes. The PPT Subtext King/Queen needs to be original and be able to create subtexts on their own. Copying one from a Neopedia doesn't impress me enough to crown you.

DM was on fire! - Again I believe this is copied straight from Neopets.com. If not I'll rejudge this but what I said about Dawn2's signature goes double for this

Twinkle - It fits in with the picture more that the others I have mentioned above but again the subtext seems to imply that the Coltzan in the signature is dead. Relate more to the situation and not the figure itself in future

Amarise - Too long sorry. Just too long, even though you can fit it in there's still the hassle of having to read that large chunk of words squashed together.

Eliminate : Amarise, Dawn2, DM was on fire!

Yeah. I figured, there was a huge space empty, and for once I'd like to see a poem, but honestly nothing else I thought of fit the set at all. I wanted a Haiku, but the stanza spacing ended up being off. Ah well, maybe next time.

I'm not being rude but Coltzan is dead isn't he? And I don't know the situation that is in the sig because I haven't played Neopets since I was 13....

Well I think he's physically dead but alive in spirit (Shrine).

Eeek Im scared to post....

Kitten Medli I like this, it fits in with the history of Coltzan, and is something you would expect to see with a picture of him. I'm not convinced it is the best subtext for this picture however, but its not completely out of place!

Amarise Way too long, I know you made sure it fits but even so it takes far too long to read for a subtext. To me any one of those lines could have been entered as a very good subtext in their own right, as it stands, personally, its just 3 seperate subtexts thrown into one.

Dawn2 Ah theres the coltzan we all know and love! Slight slap on the wrists for copying from neo but sometimes a well known phrase is the best thing to highlight a picture with. I personally don't feel that it was a bad thing that you used neos own line.

Twinkle Love it! My favourite one! What else can I say, it sums up coltzan to a tee, fits the picture and sounds right too.

Robert2100 Again I love it! Fits in with the picture and also the history of coltzan, good job!

DM was on fire! Although I recognise this as what coltzan says at the shrine, for this particular image I see it as him offering a neopet some of his treasure, I could be wrong but thats how I read it... So it works really well for me as you remind me of what coltzan does now and also relate it to the image. Well done!

Ammer Great, except King of Gold may have been more apt (but probably wouldnt have sounded as good!!) Short and simple (and we all know how much I love those!) and fits in perfectly with the image presented. Not much else to say, a very good subtext!

Hellyer I cant read this subtext as anything other than talking about coltzan and the shrine and unfortunately thats not what is in the image you were given. It is fine to use other aspects of a character when thinking about a subtext but you must always remember to relate it back to the image presented with it.

I hope that wasnt too awful guys.... :(

Ok I guess I have to eliminate now.....

Eliminate:
Amarise
Hellyer

Im sorry I really cant think of anyone else I could eliminate.... do I really have to put 3 people up?

PS The dog God, you havent rated Kitten_Medli!!

*runs away*

I don't think that's fair at all. When the sig was posted, I had no idea WHO Coltzan was. I had nothing but the Neopedia entry to go by! It's not my fault for using the only thing I had the ability to use.

No, not right now, but if there isn't a majority for three people, I will ask you to choose a third person.
