I was considering going to the college for a bit each day next year so I can continue to take Japanese (my school only goes up to Japanese 4, after that it's independent study) but meh.

I'm 14. I had the opportunity to skip a grade and be a sophomore right now, but I didn't want to. I think it's a good thing I did it. I'm mature [ish :P ] now, but I don't think I would have been ready for going into 6th grade a year early.

Oh alright. A lot of homeschoolers (or at least the ones I know) start at community colleges around 14 or 15 (sometimes younger). So I didn't think it was weird to start this fall at all.

Ack, I'm off next year, after I graduate.

Don't worry, if you managa your time well (unlike myself :P) you should have plenty of time.

I don't really have daily homework that is due the following day. Just a few tests to study for and some projects to turn in.

It makes time management a little simpler when you don't have to finish assignments on the same day you get them.

Well, as a senior in high school who is taking courses at the local community college, I can tell you that it's pretty simple.
1. The classes I chose are ridiculously easy.
2. I'm now what we call a "second semester senior" --> senioritis, baby!
3. You make time for PPT. Forgo a few homework assignments here and there (I definitely don't condone this! Take care of what you can), go to bed at 2-3 AM every day.... You get the picture. :P

Just get your priorities straight and get things out of the way. Then you can spend all your time on PPT. Agh. Addictive stuff, I say.

I'm in college and I still play. I obviously don't have as much time to do so as I used to, but it doesn't mean I've quit.

wait.. you are actually suppose to go to class and buy books while in college. mmmm I may want to try that. Wait I graduate in May, so why change it, if it ain't broke.

You buy books at the school bookstore or other designated stores. They are hella expensive. I spent around $450 USD on books this semester. :x If I don't get A's, I'm going to be quite unhappy.

That is a waste. I stopped buying them my freshman year. I still get the same grades then as I do now.

Sadly, I can't do that. My professors assign a lot of reading. Also, my Chinese homework requires workbooks.

You just have to be selective about the books you buy.
For instance, my English teacher told us to get a grammar workbook for $50. It's a good thing I'm proficient in English grammar (or at least, I hope I am), so I just said screw it and didn't buy the book.
Only purchase books that you absolutely need. Also, you can buy them used for a good chunk off the top value.
