I recently reread Driver's Ed by Caroline Cooney. I don't remember crying the first time I read it, but I cried this time.

The Velveteen Rabbit when I was little. LOTR as well. I didn't know Gandalf got revived. He ish my favourite character!

And I've cried over several other books - Because they've ended.

My sis always cried over Bridge to Terabithia. I never cared for the book. I still think the children's book "The Giving Tree" is too sad

Aie aie aie. That book upset me so much. I couldn't finish it.

There have been a bunch more, but I can't really recall the titles.

I just finished reading The Ornament Tree... the ending got me teary-eyed.

I'm reading Unfinished Dreams now, and I was nearly crying after reading the first few pages. Poor bunny =(

Outcast of Redwall, when Veil died. It was just so.. Pointless.. His death could have been avoided..

Watership down, same as a few others, and one more, in redwall series, Loamhedge, when Bragoon and Saro died.

It was just so.. Heartfelt...And sweet, and Sad..

But, in a happy way..

I don't read stories that make me cry, I read stories that make me think or stories that can entertain me for months at a time.

The Lord of the Rings The scene where Sam rescues Frodo from the Tower of Cirith Ungol.

Grah. I cried all day at that one. And I rarely really cry in books and movies, but the mooshyness at the ending and the hug and the...

I didn't cry on Order of the Phoenix. Still in deniel. He was too cool to have such a cheap death.
I teared up in Goblet of Fire, though... REALLY wasn't expecting that.

The only books I can think of that have made me cry are:

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. It actually kinda reminded me of my family a little bit
The Pigman by Paul Zindel. So sad
and oddly enough, IT by Stephen King. Cried when Eddie died, and then when at the end one of them looks in the glass of a door in passing and sees all of them together, even the ones that had died.

Read those books between the ages of 11-13. And I don't think I've read anything since then that has made me cry...

Though I tend to feel strong emotions when reading good literature... I belive I have only cried during the Hanging sequence in Mark Twains A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court

Also, Bridge to Teribethia (spelling is terrible) and some of the Chicken Soup for the soul books (espically Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul: Tough Stuff) made me cry a bit...
