A friend directed me to this post and I felt really flattered when I read all the praise for TNC. Thanks! This is Iris by the way.

The site itself works fine as far as I can tell, the front page is just empty because we haven't updated in so long.

Katia and I have just been insanely busy and apparently none of the other writers felt like writing anything either. In addition it looks as if the Moveable Type interface broke somehow and Katia hasn't fixed it yet, so at the moment we couldn't update even if we wanted. But we're hoping to get back on track eventually.

Oh, Iris, thanks so much for writing. I was so afraid that you had "given up the ghost," so to speak. I still can't get to your site when I do an MSN search, but will keep checking back from time to time. I love your articles! And highly recommend them to everyone here at PPT.

I second that. Sometimes, when I'm bored, I go and read all the archived stuff.

I'll third it -- I don't get there nearly as often as I probably should, but I was distressed when I heard it might be gone. Glad it isn't.

Thanks Iris for pointing me towards this thread. And thankyou for the compliments on TNC, morningstar. It makes it worthwhile.

To clear things up, the server that the site was on crashed, and my host is taking their sweet time to fix it. But I have a backup of all the content and I have been assured that it will eventually be fixed - whether that will take a few days or a few weeks, I don't know, but you can be certain that I'm making my opinions very clear
Whatever happens, whether it stays at that url or on a new domain, TNC will be back in business eventually

To also address some questions about the legality of Neo Fan sites etc... I have signed an agreement with their legal department, when means TNC is an "official fan site". I think there are about 8 or 10 other sites who have done so also. This means we cannot sell stuff or ask for donations on our sites (ie. we cannot make profits from our neopets-related sites - but that's all in the Neo T&Cs anyway), but it also means we get a good rap in things like the NeoMag
