I go to a catholic high school., therefore I chose other.
Advantages: um... I can't really think of anything except for some of the religious holidays, but I think that public schools have that as well. Do they?
Disadvantages: the uniform would probably be the biggest thing. Although some catholics can be a bit close-minded in their views, but I guess there are people like this everywhere.

I'm in a public school. I like it a lot, but I've never been to a private school, so I don't know what it's like.

How does homeschooling work anyway? We don't have anything of the kind in Finland really.

Well, there's a bunch of ways it works. There's the way we do it, where I use my computer (I'M GONNA KILL J00 SOS!) and we test me once a year and then there's the way my friend does it, like real school with a real life program with papers and grades...

It's kind of hard to explain, really. ^_^'

Public school. Even though there could be a chance of being a bullied, I don't really care and carrying on with my friends and learning in school is my thing. =)

Public school, and it's nowhere near where I live is the wierd thing.

My dad tried to start a charter school, but... didn't work. Meh.

Disadvantages: Girls have smller, lamer gym than boys, I have a few EVIL teachers, our orchestra teacher can't play any orchestra instrument and only gives Band the good music, and gym uniforms. AND we can't have masks on halloween costumes, or fake weapons, even if they're pencil or paper swords. Staff member who doesn't belive I speak english.

Advantages: It's an old school so it's really big, and we're pretty well off in that we HAVE an orchestra... also, they allowed me to paint my face all Braveheart...y... on blue-and-white day. (School colours day.)

I'm finally back for the summer, although hopefully I'll spend a little more time away from this screen.

I go to a public high school. Although I will be euphoric when I can get out of this city (Adios suburbs, hello Seattle!), I think the experience in high school is a good one. You meet so many diverse people. Also, I don't have to ride the bus - I walk. Wahahah.

I haven't had any problems with bullies since I've been here (since September 2003), but I'm sure there are problems. The other main disadvantage is that people wear ugg boots. I hate them with all my soul.

PRIVATE SCHOOL, REPRESENT!!! (but I'm going to a public high school next year)

Advantages: New like ... EVERYTHING, new computers, new books, new desks, etc. And it's smaller than the public middle school, so we get more attention from the teachers

Disadvantages: Hmm. It's small, 73 kids in my class. So we all know EVERYTHING about EVERYONE. And it's like 20K per year.

I went to a public elementary school, and then a private MS, and now I'm going to a public HS. I looked at some private high schools, but none of them were that great. They were all just a little bigger than my school now, and if I had to go 4 years with these people I'd die. The high school I'm going to is a lot bigger, but I still have tons of friends there, but since it's bigger, so are the classes. And so it's like, you won't have teachers helping you all the time. Because in life there aren't teachers hovering over you making sure you turn in the paper. So I think public high schools are betttttter. Horray.

EDIT: ZH, I love how you said one of the disadvantages was that people wear uggs lol
