Can someone give me a brief guide as to how to make those awesome fonts that flash? I've never made anything other than a .jpeg before :P

For anyone who doesn't have an animation program, there is a free one but I have never tried it so I can't say how good it is. Sounds like it lets you string your GIFs together.

I have a blog where I keep tutorial links, blinkies and animations included. Haven't updated it in ages so there are bound to be dead links, but someone might find something helpful there.

I'm still having trouble with mine... I'm using Fireworks by Macromedia and dont know how to place the image on to the thingy.

I looooooooove the purple grundo avvy... very cool :)

I really like the Frumball and Pterattack avatars. They're both two games I used to play every day. I was thinking of making one myself, but I don't have the patience to figure out the animations. The purple one is nice too. I'm hoping they'll update the rules and tell us if multiple entries are kept or overwritten. I also hope that they'll make one of the winners' avatars available to use.

I only have one so far, and since Neoitems is down, I have no idea what the item is called. I just know it reminds of this liquid lollypop candy I ate as a kid.
