Ooh I was going to post some pixel fonts but you got them already. It's easy enough to make your own mini letters but it's soooo time consuming, the pixel fonts are awesome :)

I wouldn't worry about people stealing, because your post is here and quite a few Neo staffers watch this forum. Plus, a thief wouldn't have the original image file to show to Neo as proof ;)

That Meepit av...I hope they choose that, I'd love to have that one!!

Here's mine. Not super creative, but I love Frumball more than just about anything on Neo :) It ended up being a lot more challenging to make than I thought it would be.

Btw, some are asking where to get fonts... here's my selection of sites that I would use:

http://www.dsg4.com/04/extra/bitmap/ (the 04B series is popular)
http://geda-online.com/grab_pixelfont.htm
http://www.freakyfonts.de/main2.html
http://www.dafont.com/en/bitmap.php (a large collection, including the 04B and such)

I would get it, but I might get a virus.

:roflol: lol! Why is everyone so scared of viruses?

Anyway, I downloaded some of the 04B fonts I didn't have.. And no viruses! :P

Because if I get one, I get the blame and yelled at ect.
Plus, I had a virus scare recently.

Which of these 3 do you guys think is better? Thanks! I know I already submitted one, but another couldn't hurt :P

I also protected them from being stolen, thats why there is that weird animation at the end of all of em.

Cut outs are just transparent areas... I believe Photoshop is bundled with ImageReady, which does animation? Either way, when you export your image to a file, use .GIF and make sure you allow for transparency in the exported file. Also, some animation editors allow to delete pixels, so that'd be another way to create transparency.

(as a footnote, it's a pity that the .MNG standard isn't more widespread, because unlike .GIF a pixel can have a color _and_ be partially transparent, as well as supporting animation)

Here's a few of the better ones I made... I entered around seven avatars into the contest, so I'm not sure how that's going to work out. The ones I submitted don't have the sneaky 'x_mause' watermark on them, that's just there to stop random Neoboarders from stealing them. XD

Coming up with interesting ideas for an avatar is harder than I thought it would be. ;x
