Actually; the percentage of sterile mules is more like 99 percent.
The vast majority are sterile, however there have been a few that have reproduced (the most recent one I do believe was in Iran).

Ooo, I have one...

What's with Sailor Moon's outfit? It's totally unsuited for combat!

If someone has a name that means something like- "Name hereto unknown" would they actually have a name? (Actually... I have a role playing character named Nomen Nominandum. Thats its meaning in Deutsch, people!)

What is the real way to spell Genious? Genius or Genious? How do you know its the right way?

Can you ask a question if you don't know the correct spelling of the word?

What is the difference between a good question and a bad question?

No, but you can ask a ?

Easy peasy, a good question is one that I know the answer to and a bad question is one that I dont!

To your question - simple. I don't know.

easy. you ask someone who lives in siberia XD

here's a riddle ;) I like riddles.

A man is sentenced to death blah blah blah. He is put in a room with three doors; on the left is a room full of motion-sensing bombs that will detonate as soon as he enters the room. In the middle is a room full of assasins that will kill him the moment he opens the door. In the third room is a pit of lions that haven't been fed in four years, who will devour him alive when he falls into the pit. The man is aware of what is contained in each room and he must pick one or die a horrible nasty pull-apart-y death. Which room does he choose?

Gotta go with the assassins. I'd much rather be torn limb-from-limb quickly than by lions, who spend a lot of time batting prey around.

Easy. I'll go with the lions, since they are most probably dead after having starved for 4 years. :P

Somehow I see this thread turning into a riddle thread...

Patrly, but it's used in psychology as well.

Anyway, the main point is some insist that they just know the tree made a noise, just because all other trees that they have seen fall do so. But how do we know it did? And how do we know it didn't? How do we know we DON'T know? *confuzzled*

Deeper aspects, duuude :D

Another one I posted in another topic a while ago:

Three snakes, with the exact same size, are in a circle (each biting onto the tail of the one in front of them). They then start eating each other at the exact same rate. If assuming they don't die of it as snakes don't really bite their food that much if it doesn't wriggle that much, what will become of the snakes after they have finished eating each other? :P

I'd choose the bombs, al though I don't know if the man would :P At least the explosives would (hopefully) kill me instantly, which the assassins might be able to do... but definitely not the lions, oh the torture...

Anyway, I haven't seen that many riddles here Qanda :)

I'm surprised nobody's posted Schroedinger's cat questions yet.

We know it made a noise because the laws of physics state that it made a noise. Anything moving through air makes noise. If it didn't move, it didn't fall. If there wasn't any air there, (a) air would be sucked into the spot with no air (therefore you still have air), or (b) if that doesn't happen (signifying universal lack of air), we'd all be dead (and dead people can't speculate on whether trees in Siberia make noise when they fall).
