OK. I admit that there is a lot of Mario games. And some of them, believe it or not, are good. But I absolutely HATE it when people say there aren't enough "mature" games for the GC. Eternal Darkness, The Resident Evil Series, Killer 7, Timesplitters (not exclusive but still there). And there are some games that aren't really "mature" but lots of adult gamers will like them such as Cel Damage. And the graphics are nothing fantastic?! The gamecube actually has the most powerful graphics out of the 3 of them (I think). It's just the game developers don't push the graphics. I mean take Resident Evill and compare the graphics of that to the graphics of RE4. a BIG difference. So please kindly stop bashing the graphics of games that nintendo did not create or program. And you are saying about the release time of the 3 consoles. The PS2 came out about a year before the other 2 consoles so there wouldn't have been a release time for all 3 of the consoles. And if Nintendo decided to scrap the gamecube and go for something different, that would mean throwing out ALL of the things from Project Dolphin and developing a new system back then. And I personally find the gamecube controller easy to use as it just fits into my hand.

Try five, if even that. Don't say that PSX is the same as PS2 (I'm guessing that's where the extra years came from) because that's wrong. That extra year doesn't really make much of a difference when compared to the other consoles, it depends on the companies that give their support to the PS2. More people believe they will make more money off of it, therefore they release more on it. Some even go for all three systems (obviously) and how well do most of those games do?
