i suppose by now there would be already about 50000 or more answers...

atleast you get some NP :P

Hey, even if there are 1 million correct answers sent in (because of people using their other accounts), we'll still get a grand ammount of 10 NP :D

Anyway, alot of people got it wrong. Half of those who got it wrong did it using some complicated math problem (I looked in google for lenny conundrum 2108 or something like that and got to a homework help site that didn't have to do with Neopets yet half a million people posted the conundrum, one after another... xD And one person who answered said it's probably '-insert long number here-' because blah blah blah...) and the other half got numbers like 18 or 49 or stuff like that.

Whoo! :D Credits to Silja for the set!

Same here. :oops: I actually figured out the way to get to the solution in my sleep. Funny how when you stop trying so hard, it comes to you rather easily.

I had to do so many things to figure out how to do the last one, and involved talking to a bunch of engineers in a forum, and that was very awkward. Also, I talked to someone here. And my dad. None of them said anything about a negative (trained engineers, who ACTUALLY TAKE CLASSES FOR THIS KIND OF THING AND HAVE JOBS THAT INVOLVE THIS EVERY DAY, INCLUDING MY DAD).....and now I'm back to square one. Or zero. Because I can't figure this new one out and I'm way too late. In fact, this setback and the next one puts me at a negative square. (haha. cough.) So TNT has the authority to tell people who do this for a living that they're wrong on a minor technicality? Who made them the gods of physics? Aren't negative and deflecting redundant?

And it's not "horrible maths questions," it's "horrible math questions." Meh.

EDIT: Your clue gags are truly horrific.

Here's the solution for those of you who were wondering...

First, the LC itself:
Quote:
What is the missing value in the following sequence?

2616, 3, 11, 10850, ________, 25, 2038

At face value, these numbers have no real meaning or association.

However, each of these numbers actually corresponds to a previous answer to an LC problem.
2616 = LC 9
3 = LC16.

That, right there, should show at least the start of a pattern. Going to LC 25, which had the answer 11, should confirm it.

And from then on, it's just following the square numbers, in order, until you reach the answer. It's number 49, by the way.

And the answer is "Abracadabra."

That's why all of the clues involved the numbers 3-9 in order, and references to squares - you had to look at past lenny conundrums which were square numbers to find the correct answer.
