Big and/or gross sea-creatures are scarier than animals on land. If you see this lion on the street, you quickly run and jump into a car, speed off. Plus there are so many people around so that would give you a smaller chance of being targeted by the beast.

In the sea, you'd freak out. They're better at swimming than you, you're the only one around and if there's a ship there's no way you can just scramble up the outside of it (too smooth and slippery.)

So yeah >.<

Ugh, I never posted the link; it's called http://www.oceanlight.com

It's not freaky or anything, it's just really cool if you like the ocean.

Most Anglerfish and dragonfish are deep sea critters.
A lot of them couldn't survive way up above, because of the pressure difference, which is why we're finding out about them now.

Okay, that's not too scary. I'm talking about those black things on the fish. Imagine going swimming in a lake, or maybe at the beach. Then after an enjoyable 30 minutes in the water, you feel something on your leg. You can't see, so you go back to the shore. And just before you get back on, you notice about 5-6 of these long black leech-like things, sucking out your blood. Each one has several rows of serated teeth, sucking out your blood and grinding into your skin as the make your way into your bloodstream, where then slowly eat your liver and other organs, leaving you as an empty shell of flesh.

Okay, I was kidding about the organ part, but they really do suck your blood.

:P You are so dead! I was sitting there thinking, I am going to go swimming and I going to loose all of my organs. Heh heh. I love underwater creatures. They are soooo freaky and yet soooo cool.

And Chrome! Nice anglerfish, I love those things. They use that little light like thing on their head to lure their prey near them and then they just snap their mouths onto their heads. O.O;; They live in complete darkness. Crazy.

PLEASE PEOPLE! Have some decency! If you're going to quote posts with pictures, delete the image tags! We only need to see these pictures once! I'm afraid I'm going to be stuck in this fetal position for quite a while x_x *whimpers quietly*
