Does this mean all the people who got frozen by accident, for no reason or whatever will be unfrozen? Or was everyone that was frozen until now will stay frozen unless they email TNT and convince them to unfreeze them?

Sorry if a topic exists, from what I saw there is none but I'm not sure :P

This sounds like a red flag to me. It could be a replacement for warnings...
Still, the topic lock function is excellent, and I don't see why they didn't do it before.

I thought it sounded as if they were just going to start it from now. Just with new offences. But I guess we will have to wait to see if anyone is unfrozen to know for sure.

Im assuming it will only apply to accounts from now on, so anyone who is already frozen will have to continue to battle it out with tnt.

Wow its great news though, hopefully it will cut down on all the unfair freezings!

for all the unfair freezings, i think you may want to contact TNT as they can not be sure which accounts are fairly frozen and which ones aren't

(automatic moderator: username, ad0; status, frozen; reason, hacking; reported by, awful lot of users; conclusion, unfairly frozen;)

Yeah... I sent a question the the editorial about it, I doubt they'll answer though :P Anyway, it really is cool, and whoever hacks or really does deserve to be frozen may learn a lesson from it, and if they don't... we'll have three days of peace from them. Well, unless they make a new account

they should have their IP suspended... wait... that would make it unfair for other users on that computer...

I don't think their IP is suspended, I was frozen for no reason and I made a new account. Anyway, doesn't an IP change every time you restart your computer?

From AWS.com:
Quote:
Every computer connected to the Internet has a unique identifier called an IP address. On many networks, the IP address of a computer is always the same. On other networks, a random IP address is assigned each time a computer connects to the network. This is what we are referring to when we ask if you have a static or a dynamic IP address. If a system uses dynamic addressing, the IP can change quite often.

To connect your Airwatch System to the Internet, you need to make sure your computer can accept incoming data from the Internet. You can use the traceroute link below to see if your computer is behind a "firewall." The screen will show all the hops across the internet to your computer. If the hops stop at an IP address other than your computer's IP, you may be behind a firewall or proxy server. If this is the case, read our Firewall/Proxy FAQ.

Web Traceroute
One more thing to consider is whether your network uses internal addresses. In this case, the IP address of your machine as reported by your TCP/IP settings is not reachable from outside your network. Internal IP addresses begin with 10, 172 and 192. Click here for more details.

Neo has handed out IP suspensions before. I think it depends on the severity of the "crime." It happened about a year ago to a person here who had one account frozen and then decided to call the staff and harass them about it. Shortly thereafter, all of his accounts were frozen and he wasn't able to make a new one.

I have also heard of it happening to people who allegedly used autobuyers and allegedly used cheat programs on the games. All accounts in the household were frozen and people were unable to make new ones.

A mass IP freezing recently happened to stampsyne, also. Seems everyone playing at the internet cafe that she frequented to got frozen for having multiple accounts.
