Hmmm.....earlier, they covered a distance of 50 miles. The Acara, at a speed of 10 miles per hour, is traveling for a total of five hours going back......the Pawkeet is traveling at a constant 25 miles per hour during this time. Trying to ignore all the details, how much distance has the Pawkeet covered this entire time?

Geez, it's too easy for all the people that know this one......I wish I had woken up earlier.

Got it. :) Don't overthink it. It can be really easy if you just go with what's in front of you. :)

there's an interesting flaw in this one i believe that a friend of mine saw,

the pawkeet may not be *with* the acara when the acara is done with his journey

they could have made this really really hard by asking how long total it had flown after returning to the acara after the acara reached meridell

but i don't think that is part of this

sorry if that's too much clue

not everything i think is something i should say

I answered 175 miles. I wonder if I will get a trophy or if I answered too late?

EDIT: I entered too late, oh well there is always next time :)
