Should I be worried?

Ok, so..
Dog barks for an hour. We thank he's just having one of his fits. we bring dog in. Suddenly, man shows up at door. man asks if we have a dog missing and shows us a chiuahuah he found. man leaves when we say its not ours.

Creepy...
Should we be worried?

Nah. He probably found it in the street around your house and was wondering if it belonged to you.

hmmm what kind of dog do you have? Is it purebred? Maybe the guy was lurking around your yard or others for an hour and your dog saw him and was barking...then when your parents brought him in the lurker thought you had seen him therefore to hide his intentions he prented to have just found a dog...when he maybe stole it or...uses it to lure dogs to him and the steal those dogs and sells them!!!! It's possible but rare lol, just fueling your paranoia

Your dog was probably just barking at the other dog, and the man happened to find the stray outside your house. I wouldnt be worried but keep on your guard just incase!

I'd probably be creeped out, personally. Then again, I am spaztastic and have a runaway imagination. ^__^ If I were you I'd just chill and forget about it. Your doggy probably smelled the other dog and was having a whole "This is my territory!" fit.

I have three dogs. All pure bred. *hides show quality akita and pompom, and also hides not so show quality mastiffe*
Edit: My mastiffe started doing the barking thing. Today. Almost same time. Whats odd is, when the guy stopped by with the dog, iit was about 11:00 pm. Kinda late for that wasn't it?

He probably just heard your dog barking and realised that you had dogs and were still awake. Since your one dog was outside barking, how was he to know that this was one of yours and that had just wandered away?
