Fake login page scam

My brother is in this guild and he was on the guild website and he clicked on somthing(i was sitting near him) and it opened to a page with a login page asking for your username. I looked at it and told him not to type any thing and to get out of it. I investigated later and it looks like a scam. The url is not neopets.com its the guild website.

go to http://www.geocities.com/unitedmoneymaker
and have a wander around and click on links that link u to neopets(not acticvites othere peoples userlookup or links to neomailing) and u will find the page

I clicked on the icons on the side and it opened a small page with info about the person... if you found a login page, perhaps it's a login page for the website's staff members?

your right it's just changed. Just have a wander through and if you click some where ":click here to neomail or somthing the login page will open up

click on the space faerie in the center of the page.Maybe my computers going mad

Lol, your computer is not going mad. There is definitly a login page but i'm not convinced it's fake...yet. I've tried loging in two times with an old useless account and it doesn't work. Try for your self...user:mbd_1991 pass: Sorry...no more pass I checked the password it does work on neopets.com

I didnt get any log in pages at all. i clicked on the space faerie and I was already logged into neopets.

That login page wasn't fake. It was real. LOL, you were not logged into Neopets.

Thats what i figured...even though that still doesn't explain why i wasn't logged in on the guild website but i was logged into neopets

I am always logged into neopets.
I clicked on the space faerie and I got the login page.
I go to neopets and I'm logged in.
But when I click on that, I am not.

With all of you clicking on what could be a fake log-in page, I do hope you are taking the precaution of deleting your cookies before going to that site. Never know when someone might try to grab your Neo cookies and, hence, get your password.
