An official farewell...

After many years on Neopets and with life now officially catching up to me, it's time to say goodbye to all of you. I've loved being part of this community and I've loved the friendliness and the kindness people here have shown me throughout my time here.

Life as it is has caught up with me - with a high-paying job on the list, moving out of home, a wedding to plan and money to earn, Neopets fell short of my plans to continue here. So as a parting gift, everything I've owned on Neopets, my items and NP, will be donated to the money tree or put in trades for interested folks. My beloved pets on both accounts need new homes, and I hope people here will find it in their hearts to adopt them and give them the love I couldn't show them from here on in.

To Morningstar, Lillie and Skullsplitter - thank you so much for your feedback, your help when I needed it most and being the friendly, warm-hearted souls that you are.

To everyone else, whom I know and whom I don't, I wish all of you happy days and awesome RS'es on Neopets.

Thanks for such wonderful memories, guys and girls. Love you always!

I never met you but, every one leaves some point in time and yours was now, might I also suggest doing a giveaway to all the kind people on ppt with your items in stead of the money tree ( just a suggestion )

Oh, another "old" PPTer leaving us. You will be very missed. But, I know how it goes.

Have a great time in the real world and remember us here, still willingly stuck in virtual reality, with kind thoughts.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot one thing. Take some screenshots of your pets, your neohome, your gallery. You may want to put them in a scrapbook someday--to show your kids, you know? How you spent several years of your life. It is always fun to reminisce about the past.

I have taken screen shots of my galleries from time to time. Back in June (?), I lost my advent calendar gallery to a glitch. It eventually came back, bit by bit, but I remember kicking myself for not printing out my gallery beforehand. So, even if it was gone for good, I would be able to remember what it had looked like. I am a bit sentimental--even if it is just a bunch of pixels.

I've done so, they're saved in a special folder that's burned to a CD.

I really don't need any. But, just a thought, make sure you leave yourself enough to be able to transfer your pets to their new owners.
