Meh, it's unknown whether or not it was a permanenet fix or not. They could've kept it that way and everyone but me would be happy (to you people that is), but a lot of us sent our hate-mail to them and they might have only fixed it because of that. Also, if you saw as many similar endings to that as I have (guy who has nothing to do with the plot comes in and wins the war), you'd agree that it is cliched, not funny, and the person who made it should be *censored*!

One last thing. Just because you guys think it's funny doesn't make it so. No matter what, that joke will ALWAYS be horrible in my opinion!

Hate mail? Heh.

Of course it is cliched -- if it's supposed to be taken seriously. This was a joke. It was making fun of that cliche.

not funny, and the person who made it should be *censored*!

I'm hoping not many people would agree that whoever wrote the plot ending should be harmed, whether they liked the ending or not. That's just crazy.

One last thing. Just because you guys think it's funny doesn't make it so.

And just because you think it sucks and that someone should be punished for making it, that certainly doesn't make it so.

No matter what, that joke will ALWAYS be horrible in my opinion!

Yeah, we get it. We just disagree. What are you trying to accomplish here? Because you can state that it sucks all you want -- you're not going to change the minds of those of us who were amused by it.

I don't mind that you don't like the ending -- you're entitled to your opinion. I do think you should let it go, however, especially now that the ending is gone. When you keep stating whoever made the ending should have terrible things done to them just because you didn't like their work, that's going too far. And coming onto this board and expressing disbelief that anyone here could actually be amused by the ending, then insinuating we're all Hannah haters and everyone is against her fans, is not a good way to fit in. If you'd take some time to read the forum, you'd see that I made a few posts about how I was annoyed at Hannah supporters being called "n00--" all over the neoboards -- I've been at Neopets for more than four years, and I joined Hannah's side, as did a lot of other "oldbies," both on these boards and the neoboards.

You're right, I did overreact, and I apologize for it. I guess I really hated the ending because I've seen it used so much, I just... snapped. I also had just gone through a personal spaz for something else neopets had done and was still cooling off when it happened. I shouldn't have vented my anger here, and I truly apologize for it.

It's okay. I guess it doesn't matter either way, now that the plot's over. Soon the prizes will come out, and then we'll really have something to complain about. ;)

Now THAT is something I can agree with everyone on!

The
End.

Great Job everyone.

It's not over until we get are prizes and start complaining about how bad they are! :P

No matter where you go, there's always a happy cliched ending, even on PPT.

*sigh*

WHY CAN'T THERE EVER BE ANY VIOLENCE AROUND HERE?! *throws a chair*

o_O

Oops  that wasn't meant to come out :P

No but seriously, I'm really annoyed with all the cliches. I mean, I liked the Sloth Ending sheerly because it was a funny plot twist. Something nobody expected would ever happen, like the destruction of Maraqua (sp?) or the liquidization of the General Chat on the Neoboards (which I still think was a bad idea btw).

My ideal plot would be one where the ending is really and truely unpredictable (neo-wise), but which will keep everyone satisfied. For example, as cliched as it may be, I would really like to see Sloth somehow integrated into a future plot, but not in a joke-type sense. Maybe he might start 'attacking' whilst everyone else is fighting giant sand lizards from the Lost Desert of something. But TNT could tie it in so that it actually makes sense and is relevant to the plot. As in, using the fact that everyone else is already fighting 'to his advantage'.

I'm just kind of bored of all these cliches everywhere. Next thing you know, TNT will release a game where you're a fat Scorchio Plumber, and you need to rescue some princess from an evil 50 ft giant Bori. If you don't know what I'm talking about, pretend that I'm crazy o.o
