Yeah, everyone should end up with a 4.

If you pick
1 x 9 = 9 -- 9+0 = 9 - 5 = 4 = D
2 x 9 = 18 -- 1+8 = 9 - 5 = 4 = D
3 x 9 = 27 -- 2+7 = 9 - 5 = 4 = D
4 x 9 = 36 -- 3+6 = 9 - 5 = 4 = D
5 x 9 = 45 -- 4+5 = 9 - 5 = 4 = D
6 x 9 = 54 -- 5+4 = 9 - 5 = 4 = D
7 x 9 = 63 -- 6+3 = 9 - 5 = 4 = D
8 x 9 = 72 -- 7+2 = 9 - 5 = 4 = D
9 x 9 = 81 -- 8+1 = 9 - 5 = 4 = D
10 x 9 = 90 -- 9+0 = 9 - 5 = 4 = D

So you have to start out with a country that starts with the letter D. Which as far as I know are:
Denmark
Dominican Republic
Djibouti

So you have to start the animal's name with a K, C, or I. There's a lot of possibilies for that, but most people are going to go with Denmark and Kangaroo... I don't know why more people don't think of Koala. *shrug*
